I’m a tenant. I raised a dispute, and sent in all evidence. I try to get in touch with my case assessor, no communication at all, except automatic emails I call them, and they reassured me they have everything they need. A month later I get an email saying if I don’t send in all evidence my dispute will go against me. I email them. All I get is automatic responses, no communication at all. It left me no choice but to find my case assessor on Facebook and he is a student with no qualifications, I message him, finally I get emails back from them. One email you need to fill this out and send it to us before 10 am on Monday, the email was sent on Friday afternoon, so they leave me not even 1 working day to send this to them, and I might have to sent it by post which makes it impossible because I have less than 1 working day, and if they don’t have it the dispute will go against me. They are horrible towards tenants, and may I just point out that it is the tenants money you’re holding, not the landlords. They have students assessing cases that needs fully qualified individuals to be assessed. They give different information on their hotline, and one person will completely deny what another person has said (I have recorded my phone calls, and I can prove it). This organisation has no organisation, it’s a floating mess, and I can’t believe anyone conducts business like this. It is unbecoming!

The agent - Sharifa - was really helpful. I had had some issues contacting the service previously. But I was very happy with the interaction when I did make contact.

Provided with DPN number that didn't work. Took two weeks to respond to an email where I needed this number to raise a dispute. Was not informed that if I accepted the return of the non-contested amount of the deposit that I lose any right to contest the withheld amount. Now dealing with rude staff who are basically saying tough.

I emailed asking for my Deposit Certificate to be amended, as I had made a mistake on the original copy. This was completed and I was emailed within a day.

I have been with myDeposits ever since they were formed , with up to 4 properties on the go at any one time. I have never had an issue with them. They are quick at responding to emails and provide useful advice on line. The insured route works really well for me as a landlord with myDeposits. Thoroughly recommend them.

I needed to alter one of our Deposit Protection certificates and contacted MyDeposits yesterday. Sharifa got back to me the very next day, informing me that the alterations have been made and I was able to download the new certificate. Thank you Sharifa!

I was very pleased as to how quickly the requested change of tenant name was done on an existing DPC. I requested the name change as a result of an assignment of tenancy and the revised DPC was issued within a couple of hours.
