Jackie at our location was wonderful to work with. She showed us all our options and all the time necessary to make sure we were happy with our experience.

The facility is clean with good lighting and security. It even has piped in music. Good hours with access as late as 10pm. Jacquelyn in the office is knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful.

During our recent moving experience, Alex was extremely helpful in arranging for additional storage space for us.

Safeguard self storage is the name that immediately comes to mind when i need store items. Safeguard provides a safe, secure, clean, convenient and tranquil space that feels the same whether i visit at 9 am or 9pm. Safeguard was there for me at a very challenging time as I handled a precious loss. Although I have moved 30 miles away, I still pass others to return to Safeguard Self Storage in New Rochelle for all the above reasons. I likely always will. CUSTOMER SERVICE OVER THE YEARS HAS BEEN ALWAYS EXCELLENT -they really treat me with care!!

My belongings were stored for seven months in the Whakatane facility, the mold damage acquired during that time was extensive.All the wooden furniture had blue green mold, soft fabric smelled badly, even the golf-trundler, books, cosmetic brushes, Power-cords, mold everywhere.

Happy with customer service overall, however, hidden / unexpected fees do feel not right... starting from online booking when an unexpected admin fee came up at the very last moment before making a payment (no mention of it otherwise), then, after the rental agreement was signed, I was told to pay extra for obligatory insurance of my property and pay for a lock to a storage unit that only they sell...

All my stuff have mood and focus on it and they should have better protection for rain storms and floods and the insurance they make you pay for doesn’t cover anything they’re just make you pay it for there building properties benefits

During a very difficult time when I didn't know how or where to store my precious items, the staff at Safeguard Self Storage provided me with incredible help. Vivian informed me of all my options, the pros and cons of each, and walked me through the clean facility with patience, kindness, and a chock-full of knowledge. She even helped me with stuff that was not storage-related. Her guidance was invaluable. Besides that, I safely stored my personal belongings, walking in to add things to my unit as needed. It's very easy and I feel so comfortable knowing my things are secured. It's great - highly recommend it!
