United Kingdom | 07 June 2023Yet another disappointing service with Partridge BMW. I bought the car from them 2 years ago when it was all smiles. They promised a full fuel tank...didn't get that but I let that go...more fool me. It's been in for regular servicing since & every single time there is a delay meaning we have to charge through the traffic to get there in time to pick the car up as apparently it's impossible for them to hold the car overnight. This time the car was in for an oil service. I was asked what time i'd like to collect it. Anytime atound 4 is good for me, i said. No quote given but I was oil engine service. Told I needed a new rear wiper & the tyres recalibration...really? Oh OK then. Then it was 2 new tyres at £220 each plus vat. I asked about cheaper ones but was told they did not have any...oh, OK then thinking it was a safety issue and ought to be done before returning the car at the end of the day. But they had to order them anyway....I could have gone to Kwik Fit for half the price! At 5.15pm there was no call to collect the car. At 5.20pm I called to be told no one was available & an email would be sent. I said I couldn't wait that long as it took nearly 30 mins to get to the dealership. So my husband drove me and 10 minutes up the road I get a call to say the car wasn't ready & the person had gone home without telling me. I was furious. The next day I get the invoice & it was £80 more than the figure I had been given in writing the day before. And an aircon service had been completed which I didn't request. After complaining the bill dropped to £1200ish & they dropped the car back to me. Myself & my husband both have BMWs but will find another place to have them serviced & will find alternative cars when we chose to change them. The last time my husbands car was serviced he complained about a slow puncture...they totally missed the nail which was evident when he took it back again after it was 'repaired '
