We did the paperwork online, for which Alex was of enormous help. The process itself was super smooth. At no point was there any worry about the purchase being made online as Alex ensured I felt safe about transacting remotely. On February 3rd, I went to pick up my car and Kathryn was happily available for the delivery/collection. I am now in love with my car and can't thank both Alex and Kathryn enough for their extremely professional handling of my purchase. Once I'm ready to get a new BMW, I know where I'll go.

United Kingdom | 08 February 2023I ordered a BMW iX through Tusker work scheme. So didn't have the full Partridge dealer showroom experience and razzmatazz. So it felt a bit subdued to be honest. And here's why. The "in stock" car according to Tusker was actually still in Germany! Early January delivery turned into mid January then late January. No tracker available for customers, yet looking at Facebook, some customers seem to get a tracking link with updates I guess to build the excitement of a new car. Every week or so I chased for an update by email. Each time I got a response back saying the date had gone back. And was asked to fill out a trustpilot, on every email I got back, to the point it got annoying. Having confirmed a delivery date, as the day got closer I called only to leave a message and no one call be back. So I emailed to ask about the delivery process, time slot, what handover would look like. Only once I chased did something get sent to me. On the day of delivery I got a call in the morning to say I was the last delivery of the day and it could be late and that I'd get a call an hour before. The delivery driver was concerned as to access to park his HGV down my road and hadn't actually used google streetview to do any research for himself. So I did it for him and sent him a text showing the road. I never got the call an hour before as agreed, but a text message from him that I missed, only to get missed calls to say he was outside my house. If he'd rung an hour before I would have been at home. To be honest i'm very happy with the car and I will forget about the delays and kafuffle on delivery day. I didn't expect flowers or a letter from the dealership as it was a Tusker vehicle. In terms of experience it was "very average". I accept there is no relationship to build as I've never been to the showroom. It got the job done.
