The product I wanted was hard to find and was sold at a competitive price by this company (wood treatment). I was happy with the item. However, delivery was delayed and not in line with their delivery guidelines which was frustrating. However, communication from the company was very good and I was given a postage refund to compensate. As a result I was left more satisfied and would consider using again albeit ordering more in advance to allow for postage delays.

I ordered a difficult-to-get-hold-of inlay for a Bosch L-Boxx 6 weeks ago - it was important but not urgent. My only gripe is that the item showed as in stock on the website, but an order acknowledgement was followed by a notification that it had to be ordered in specially. Since then, without me having to chase them, I've received more than one email a week explaining why the item was late and what was being done about it. Yesterday I received a shipping notification and the item arrived today. If the measure of a company is how well it responds when things go wrong then Tool-Net have done very well - hence 5 stars, despite the delay.

ordered the product from them and with a little misunderstanding about the p&p which was sorted in afew minutes it was a quick and good delivery within 5 days of ordering came at time stated so no waiting in for delivery man the product was well wrapped and secure in all a really pleasent and good service from them would use again when required

Looked all over for a decent priced chop saw. This one fit the bill for its ability to cut wider boards.Well packaged and delivered within the stated 3-5 working days. Disappointed with the Quality of the supplied blade but the saw is the main thing. Will need to buy a decent blade sooner than expected. The saw is a bit noisy so you will need some ear defenders or plugs.

Received my order within a few days. Haven't been able to find prices this good anywhere else. Will definitely order again.

All round good company, as with any shopping experience you may encounter problems but they work with you to resolve any issues asap... Great products greater prices

I ordered 250 nail plates and after a few days noticed that the order status had not changed and decided to call as I had a deadline for finishing roof trusses on a barn. I spoke to a lady who seemed a little short but said delivery was 3 to 5 days and I would have them by late the following week. On the Monday I checked again and the order status hadn't changed so sent an email stating that I had a deadline and if delivery couldn't be assured the order should be cancelled. I had a quick reply where I was told that they were awaiting stock the following day and would despatch immediately on arrival. True to their promise - it arrived the following day and allowed me to finish the job on time. Would have been useful if the website indicated whether stock was available or not and also this should be reflected in the order status.

Order arrived safe and sound, beautifully packed and with a timed courier. This is internet shopping as it should be! Fabulous customer service and exemplary customer care. Bargain price too....saved £35 on three tins of Ronseal deck rescue paint. Recommending Tool-Net who anyone who'll listen.

Tried to buy a wall tool holder and tool cabinet. For the tool holder I used a discount code that I found on the website; unfortunately I did not notice that it was only for returning customers and even though the website allowed me to checkout and pay for the item using the code, I was contacted by the company to say the the discount would not stand and I would need to pay more. The cabinet was purchased using the ONLY delivery option available (£6.99). Again the website allowed me to checkout and pay. I was again informed that the I would need to pay more as the item was over the weight limit; to my surprise the the cost of delivery was now £50 extra (£56.99 in total)! Both items were cancelled. Even though the company states that the terms are on their website they are not: a. Clear b. Applied automatically by their website. This is probably one of the worst websites I've come across for buying online. Obviously this company is years behind most other online retailers. Recommend you stay away from this company!

This was the first time I have used this company. The website was well laid out and the price was the best around. I selected the budget delivery option in the absence of known dispatch weight and promptly received an email informing me that my order would exceed the weight limits so there would be a small additional charge. This was not significant and the price per unit was still significantly less than competitors. All my correspondence was dealt with promptly and efficiently in a friendly manner. Once the goods were despatched they arrived the next day, although I didn't receive any updates from the courier company but that is not tool-net's responsibility. Highly recommended, I will definitely use again in future

After the use of, and then review of my first major purchase from Tool-Net, I was so impressed by both product and service, I decided would be returning to Tool-Net again. Well I did return, and purchased the updated XL (lighter) version of the Classic, This was delivered fast. The new version of this ladder lives up to the manufacturer's claims - in terms of flexibility, ease of use, safety and build quality, this is an exceptional multi-ladder. Tool-Net is also proving dependable and offer fast delivery.

Tool net offer a brilliant service, I ordered a night searcher torch of them recently and even though the hadn't got it in stock they quickly informed me then kept in contact doing as much as they could to resolve the issue over the easter bank holiday and also helped with the delivery due to the awkward timing on my part, fantastic customer service, spot on. would recommend to anyone.

Looking for a pool pump I came across Tool-net, had never used them before. Rang them with a query and person on the phone was very helpful. Had the best price for the product. Wanted it next day and website didnt offer next day delivery price so rang again and they explained that delivery would cost £10 more but not bad considering weight of the item so I placed the order and paid, the person on the phone saw the order immediately and confirmed it would be sent that day and it was. Arrived next day as promised. Product looks good quality and I like the fact that they have re-used an outer box off another product - great for the environment. Would certainly come back again.
