Not a fantastic organization to do business with. Very quick to take your money, but refunds seem to be a major problem. I've had lots of apologies so far and a few promises to chase the accounts department, but still no refund. I've seen a few similar comments recently on other trust websites, so perhaps we can infer something from the trend?

I ordered an Xtend & Climb Telescopic Ladder. It was very competitively priced and delivered within a couple of days. The courier they used (UK Mail) sent a message giving a 1 hour timed delivery window so there was no waiting around for the parcel to arrive.

I ordered and paid for a DeWalt drill. Website said it was in stock - delivery in 2-5 days. 5 days after ordering I received an email saying that the item was delayed coming to their dispatch warehouse and would not be with us for a further 11 days. I take this to mean it was not in stock after all. I cancelled the order. I was then told it would take 30 days to refund and indeed it did.

Tool-net offers everything you need in a website. For starters they have an excellent choice and selection. I wanted to research my makita drill before making a purchase, and tool-net enabled me to do that as each different drill (and makita have a lot of them) was well illustrated and it's specification clearly listed. Most importantly the prices were keen, and I was unable to find a cheaper web site, anywhere else on the internet. That was true of all and any of the items I was interested in. Ordered 10 pots (over £100 worth) of fence paint. Three pots found leaking badly after opening three days after delivery. Upon complaint, company said that they were not prepared to refund me and offered a one pot refund as a "gesture of good faith" Now performing credit card chargeback.

Great customer service again, couldn't be more helpful whether its by phone or email. My order was delivered overnight arriving before I expected. They have a great selection of goods at prices that will struggle to be beaten. I've placed over half a dozen orders now since January and every time the site has been best for value. They are not only my got to supplier but I also recommend them to my colleagues when replacing or buying new tools and equipment.

Very poor service. Ordered some PVA and paid with card and got email from them next day demanding more money for delivery. So I cancelled the order and ordered elsewhere and they promised to refund. But after repeated email promises over many weeks they didn't refund and eventually i had to get PayPal involved. Won't be using them again

Can't fault this site so far and made easier with paypal.
