No notification that items would be out of stock. Suggest that you notify your customers that items are out of stock rather than leave them guessing.

I was impressed with their prices and timed/notified Delivery Service.

I purchased some tools from company Beta. I found these to be very competitively priced, and delivered quickly. Selection of tools on the website is very broad, site is easy to navigate. Packaging of tools could be better but they arrived safely. I will be using them again. R Newman

Working in a rural area it is often hard to get reliable service and delivery. Tool-net is great, no fuss and problems with the orders I have received. Also find them very competitive on prices!

Having ordered 3 tins of cutting oil, Tool-Net dispatched 2 tins of cutting oil and 1 tin of something else in error. I was contacted immediately though, to be advised, and given options on how I would like to proceed. They were courteous and knowledgable at every stage. Despite the mix-up, I would still recommend them.

Ordered a Clarke trolley jack. The price was good, but I found it annoying to have to pay a p&p charge on top (unlike one big internet seller which offers free delivery over £10). It took just over a week to arrive, which was just about acceptable, but when many sites offer free next day delivery this was a little offputting, especially as once you add in the p&p the prices are not quite so good. I'll but from Tool-Net again based on my experience but please adjust your prices to include p&p!

I have now used Tool-Net several times. They have wonderful customer service. The only critism is the delivery is very slow and can be expensive on smaller items, the minimum is £6.99 I think there could be a cheaper option. All depends on what you by, but very pleased so far. Rob

I have completed 3 purchased at Tool-net.co.uk in the past 2 months, and have been very happy with the service and advice received. There has been a few problems with the delivery, which can be hard to understand as a customer, but the customer service team have been very helpful every time. I highly recommend the website.

Had a look around online for the products I wanted and they consistently had the cheapest prices I could find for most of the products. Delivery was fast and cost was reasonable and customer services were great when i had a problem.

Recently purchased a pressure washer from this company. I am very pleased with the build and quality of the product - nothing cheap or plasticy like some others I have seen. Not the most expensive either but came recommended by Which. Speedy and trouble free delivery. Very pleased with all aspects of the service and company.

After much internet searching, Tool-net were the cheapest suppliers of the woodburner I was looking for. The item arrived promptly but had suffered some minor damage in transit. I reported this and received an apologetic reply almost immediately with an offer to replace the item. In fact all I needed was a small part which was dispatched and arrived the next day. A fantastic customer service experience from the cheapest supplier - you don't get that very often! Highly recommended.

Tool-Net has a very good selection of stock to choose from. The prices are very good however as stated the in the delivery policy the prices don't include postage, which ammounted to a substantial amount, making them no cheaper and in most cases slightly more expensive than their competitors (that offer good prices and free/reasonable delivery). I guess for most people it may be ok but in my case I would have been better getting some items elsewhere, but I'd already put the order together so I couldn't be bothered with the hassle of cancelling the order. The second negative is they took a very long time to dispatch. The order was placed on the 12th but it wasn't despatched while the 20th, once dispatched Palletways delivered next day. I was informed of an item out of stock and would be dispatched separately, this part of the order came a couple of days after the first part, proving they can do things quicker when they try. I had ordered many things from various suppliers that week, all of which were dispatched and delivered within a couple of days. The order did come well packaged, everything accounted for and the tools seem to be very good.

Tool Net offers an immense spectrum of tools, hardware and consumables at consistently good prices — it's unusual to find a product cheaper elsewhere and extremely rare to find a product that they don't sell! Given the number of products the website could do with some tweaks — particularly the search pages. I would also say that despatch/delivery times trail competitors; irksome when free delivery is becoming the norm but given Tool Net's great prices, things tend to work out favourably so long as the order is large enough. In summary, Tool Net has the fundamentals right. I've been happy with the orders that I've placed through them and will no doubt continue to order from them in future. Give Tool Net a try.

Order Number 488742. Bought a Rhino H02241 2kW Oil Filled Radiator. Great price, cheapest I could find. Fast delivery, well packed and really good quality, was surprised how fast it heated up. Would buy from again as you have a soldering iron I'm interested in.
