Mixam are a wonderful company. The staff always go above and beyond to help with every step of my query. They are very thoughtful, friendly, incredibly knowledgebale and supportive. If you are ever unsure about anything ask a staff member or use the AI help and you will come away very happy, informed and reassured. Their book printing process is absolutely astounding, they keep you informed all through the process, and the website it easy to navigate with step by step instructions. All my books ahve been beautiful quality, and it makes me so excited to think of all the opportunities that they have helped to open up to me as a beginner. I have returned to them so may time since my first time because I trust that the products will be absolutely amazing. Thankl you so much!

I don’t normally leave bad reviews but this company deserves one. the last 3 months this company have ‘delivered’ but only shocking customer service. They no longer deliver on time and meet their delivery targets set on their website. They produce excuse after excuse. I’ve ordered from a different company instead and they delivered within 2 days. Mixam say on the website that it will take a week but it ends up being 3+ weeks and they string you along with excuse after excuse. Don’t believe their dispatch times, they can’t meet them.

Having used Mixam a number of times we have generally received good service, quality and price however this time the order was delivered several days late and as the consignment was for a specific event could not be used. No offer of rebate or discount, just pointed to their terms of "estimated delivery date" and no responsibility taken for the late delivery.

First order was good but second the books were not flat and the flyers not centred. I complained and was told this was normal. Poor quality for the money.

The print quality is absolutely excellent. I queried a batch of the books as they were damaged in transit, and they were reissued, only for them to be damaged in transit again, as they are not well-protected (just loose in boxes). The customer service from Catalina has been excellent in supporting with reissuing the items.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS IF YOU VALUE YOUR TIME AND RELIABILITY. I placed an order on Monday, 9th December, and paid extra for priority service to ensure delivery by Friday, 13th December. By Thursday, 12th December, the order had still not been shipped. After following up with their live customer service at 5 PM, I was informed that the order would only be shipped on Monday, 16th December—the exact day I needed the booklet for submission. Despite repeatedly chasing their team, I was met with empty promises. They assured me it would ship the next day to meet my deadline, but their updates were inconsistent and unreliable. They asked me to wait until 6:30 PM for feedback but then failed to follow up. When I reached out again, I was told that the production team had closed at 6 PM, and I’d have to wait until the next morning for further updates. Their lack of professionalism completely wrecked my timeline and process. In the end, I had no choice but to cancel the order. They promised a refund within 2 days—let’s see if they can manage that without messing up. This company is unreliable, unprofessional, and an absolute nightmare to deal with. If you value your deadlines and sanity, AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS. Bunch of jokes

Mixam's guidelines were easy to follow, contact with production team was straightforward and friendly, and a couple of weeks or so later I received my books, printed and bound exactly as requested. I found Mixam easy to work with, efficient and good value for money.

Horrible customer delivery. DO NOT USE!! My delivery date has changed several times... Still have not received my product. I have asked for a refund and radio silence. I paid for everything in FULL in nov and it is now dec 12th to no avail.

I've used Mixam, and recommended them to others, for years as they've produced great quality print, quickly and easily. However, on the last 2 occasions I've placed work with them the delivery dates given at the time of placing the order haven't been met - multiple times per order. This unreliability makes it impossible to plan and it has had significantly negative consequences on project timelines. It doesn't help that there is no accountability for the multiple delays either and they just send standard 'apology' emails. Sadly, I won't use them again.

Not only was the print quality spot on, beautiful, but the packaging was expertly done, with zero damage to my magazines at all. I spoke with Mixam beforehand asking for sheets of paper inserted between each issue due to the cover being a dark colour. Well, they went above and beyond and a thin sheet of foam was instead between each issue, which also helped with avoiding damage.

Great service, product printed to a high quality. I asked for paper samples to be sent to me to ensure I used the correct GSM, which was delivered to me promptly and made it easy to choose correctly. Customer service quick and efficient when I made an enquiry. Adding my work on line was a little tricky but to be expected as first time using service. All and all I would highly recommend this company.

The interface is great, the service outstanding and how they do what they do for the price is out-standing. Trust the dozens of 1 star reviews and shop elsewhere if you need quality and items on time. UPDATE - I am still awaiting my reprint this has been going on weeks now these were christmas items and well it's now the 10th December. We’ve used Mixam a dozen times in the past and have always been impressed with their great turnaround and print quality. Unfortunately, our recent experiences have been increasingly disappointing. Our latest order is now three days late and hasn’t even been printed yet. The promised print date came and went, and I didn’t even receive an update about the delay until the following morning. This has now happened repeatedly, with no resolution or urgency. When I reached out to customer support, they were far from helpful. The dismissive response—that their promised dates aren’t guarantees and delays happen—was frustrating and unprofessional. When you’re running a business or event, reliability from suppliers is critical, and sadly Mixam no longer delivers. I had previously recommended Mixam to others, but I can no longer do so in good faith. Their service has become unreliable, and their lack of care for loyal customers is extremely disappointing.

This is an extremely funny email to be getting in the middle of trying to resolve an issue. I can't rate my experience! My experience isn't over! Really ratty finishing, and a trim issue I've never seen before in all my years of pre-press. Won't be using mixam again. Currently trying to arrange getting the books sent back as they don't trust me to dispose of them myself, and they can't even read the email properly. The only day I CAN'T do is Wednesday - please read the email correctly!!! The only day I CAN NOT have them picked up is Wednesday. They have arranged pick up for Wednesday. The only thing making this bearable is how funny it is that they can't just read and follow the simple instruction in the email. It's such a short print run. It should be so easy to just get done. Why is this dragging on. I just want my books and to be out of this interaction.

A fantastic printing company that I can't recommend enough! I created a hard back, full colour A5 book of my Grandfather's war diary as a gift and I could not be happier with the result. Such an amazingly low price even with just a very short run. The design website allows you to simply upload either PDFs or Word documents for both the interior text sections and for the cover and spine art. You can then amend and view your finished document in a book form with the cropped proof document all auto generated. The final product ended up exactly as I'd designed and looks amazing - so happy with the result. There was a slight flaw on the front cover of one of the books though, but one quick message to the support team and I was offered a replacement book reprint which was sent with no issue at all! Very good work on your after-sales team Mixam, give them a pat on the back! I would have no hesitation in using Mixam again for other printing work in future.

Just had a print run done that had the pages in the wrong order. When you triple check everything to make sure it's all good and then the printer messes it up, it's not great. Contacted Mixam and they reprinted for me, but as part of a zine exchange I'm doing with other photographers, I wasn't the only one to have issues. Looking at where the zines get sent from it looks like some of their outsourcing companies need re-evaluating. Didn't used to be like this. Will be looking elsewhere next time.
