Helpful and reassuring - and a lovely final product

2nd February 2024 and 22nd March 2024. From being someone who wrote, but never published, Mixam were fantastic. The team there helped me to design and affix covers around the text of both my novels. Adam was absolutely superb, helping me to find the apps to use, and to quickly answer an endless list of questions from me. He said Mixam would never leave me to cope myself, and he was totally correct. The quality of the prints is very high, the cost of both was extremely low and they came through exactly when they promised. There are plenty of companies out there, but Mixam are absolutely the best in every way.

The process of book and zine production using Mixam was very simple to use with the finished result being exactly what they said would be produced. Delivery was prompt and the packaged goods arrived with no damage. Mixam were recommended to me by an experienced photographer who has been using them for some time to print his books. For him, quality and cost were the important factors and I have to say, I am in 100% agreement with him. Shall be using Mixam from now on - great job!

Printing was really high quality and really fast. Connected to an actual person within 30 seconds of asking a question on their "chat to us" box, and my problems were sorted really quickly. Also mentioned a problem in my file that I hadn't noticed so I could fix it before printing and let the print team know about one part I didn't want them to fix. Very friendly as well! I wish I could remember their names so I could thank them personally!

Was quoted an expected delivery date that was then not honoured. Website lets you select a date that is actually not available. I have unnecessarily paid extra for priority for documents that won't arrive in time. Very frustrating.

Excellent prints with amazing advice and support

I have been ordering from Mixam for several years now and they are to simply put it an amazing company to order from:Their prices are extremely competitive and I wish more people knew about them. They have a very good quality control in place and consistently produce excellent prints. They take time to package your prints to show not just the human touch but that the people working there respect your prints. The very rare occasion where we had issues with upload which effected our prints Kiri was so helpful in rectifying the situation and advising how to avoid such error in the future. The result was a book that looks very professional.

Disappointing. Colours came back all washed out and weak and had a line printed through an area of black colour. The staff were very helpful in responding to my email queries, in particular about the importance of realistic, professional colour, but despite this, I got a better result printing from my home printer on photo glossy paper. Insufficient and cheap looking result for a high quality catalogue, which is what I had hoped for.

I used Mixam for my grandfather’s service booklet for his funeral and they were nothing but excellent. I submitted my design without a bleed area and by the time I realised they were already in production. I used the live chat feature and got through to Chanel. She cancelled on the production side, gave me a call and fixed the bleed issue on my behalf. Our booklets arrived today and they’re just what the family wanted. Thank you!
