They quoted high, I checked on confused.com, called, we negotiated, I got a reasonable new offer, which I accepted. Hopefully I won’t need more from them next year either. Craig the agent was very pleasant.

I had to phone up to clarify something on my insurance and after having to deal with the awfulness of the phone system I nearly cancelled immediately. If I have to call again and they haven't improved it, they will not get a third chance. The human I eventually managed to get to said they had been getting "mixed" responses to it. I would rather pay someone else an extra £50 not to have to waste my time on rubbish automated systems. The only positive about Lancaster is that they were cheap.
