The dealership is both professional and friendly, walking into the showroom you WILL get a warm welcome and a hot drink, you WON'T get any kind of hard sell. I've mentioned 'professional' and 'friendly' to these I can add 'knowledgeable'. From Ed, the manager, through to Rhys, our sales exec, to Neil in servicing and repairs, the same concern for customer service and satisfaction pervades. We have had a new CRV and the much talked about Civic Type R from these guys and they always strive to go the extra mile to answer our questions and provide brilliant service. Just picked up my new Arkana, the whole experience was great from start to finish with the whole team and Manny in particular, being very helpful. The car was slightly delayed due to supply issues with cars at the moment, but Manny kept me up to date on what was happening and when I could expect delivery. The handover was very good with Manny spending over an hour going over the functions of the car and helping me understand what all the displays and settings meant! This is the 2nd time I have purchased from John Banks and my daughter also purchased her new Dacia from them, so they are definitely doing a good job for our family. Would definitely recommend them.

I picked up my new HRV last week and only have good things to say about the experience with John Banks Honda Ipswich Special thanks to Darren Martin who was very helpful throughout the process and was always available to answer any questions. At no time did I feel pressure to sign up and buy the car and was instead made to feel I could make an informed decision in my own time.

Currently trying to get my car repaired. John Banks won't answer their phones at all. Have been trying for a few days now. The automated booking schedule online offers you a potential repair - ONE MONTH into the future. At least answer your phone to people who have paid so much for a warranty!

From my initial contact to arrange an appointment to picking up my new purchase couldn't have gone any better mainly thanks to Darren Martin. He listened to my requirements and suggested two alternatives with no pressure to buy anything. After chatting through my options both cars and also the financial side, my decision was made easily. All my questions were answered clearly and he made sure I understood everything. The car was prepared and made available on the date arranged. He even picked me up from the train station on the day of collection which I thought was a lovely touch. I have no hesitation in recommending John Banks Ipswich to anyone.
