United Kingdom | 08 March 2023What an absolute pleasure has been dealing with John Banks Ipswich. Rhys Measor and Ed Kreckler are by far the best dealership representatives we have ever dealt with. My Wife bought an S2000 from Ed in 2005 and that was seamless. I have just purchased a used Audi Q5 from them and the experience is without doubt way beyond expectations. Ive dealt with Audi both new and used, Mercedes (don't get me started) and Lexus over the years and going back to those guys fills me with dread. JB Ipswich is like a breath of fresh air. Rhys has been superb, answering every detail, doing exactly what was agreed and handing over what looks and feels like a brand new car. Don't think I want to go anywhere else.

Ended up buying a different CR-V but the service we received from Kymberley was very professional, going the extra mile to make sure we bought the car that suited us. United Kingdom | 22 February 2023Saw a car online and messaged the garage in relation to purchasing it. The garage was in the next county so could not just pop down to it, hence emails. Got confirmation email back saying someone would be in touch. Then got numerous emails back asking if I was still interested in the car. I made it very clear I wanted to purchase the car and just needed to make sure they had everything in place for when I came down to collect. No reply from the garage, just the same email over and over asking if I was still interested. That was nearly two weeks ago and still nothing has been sorted. If this is what their customer service is like when buying a new car, I would hate to sort out any issues with them as it would just go on and on.

I had to involve Renault head office to try and resolve my issues at which point John Banks back tracked on their original diagnosis, where initially they would have taken at least 2k for a clutch fix on a still new car from me . Lots of stress and hassle on what should have been something very simple. Unless you have purchased your car direct from John Banks they are difficult to deal with. I didn’t buy my new car from John Banks as they were not competitive. It should not matter Renault should be Renault and they should offer first class service. John Banks failed badly for me. Avoid.

The staff, especially Manny, have treated me like a human being. I have always been put at ease by the knowledge and professionalism of the staff, who know how stressful it can be to make that commitment to buying a new car. They have been patient with me, especially when I have asked the most inane questions. When I picked up my new Duster, Manny went through all of the things the car could do. I am so thrilled with my purchase and it drives like a dream. Great customer service made this purchase. I felt I was in control and had nothing forced on me.
