Kymberley Cant looked after us very well from initial contact prior to a routine service of an existing Honda offering a test drive, through to collection of the new car. At no time were there any pressure tactics to get a sale and by good fortune she was able to provide the car in the colour and spec wanted without a long wait. This is the fourth car purchased from John Banks and I have no hesitation in recommending them.

We had several Used SUVs on our list to look at and our first port of call was John Banks to view a CR-V SR. Having left my wife and I alone for a respectable amount of time, we were approached by a friendly Chloe L asking if we needed assistance. Without any of the usual pressure sales tactics we spoke about the car of interest to us and were offered the keys to look at it further by ourselves. Liking what we saw and discussed, including a very re-assuring 12 month warranty, a year’s MOT and other benefits of buying from John Banks Honda we asked to take the car for a test drive, all arranged by Chloe without hesitation… and instantly decided this was the car for us, ignoring the other vehicles we were supposed to view. A lot of this was obviously the car itself, but the comforting reassurance of dealing with the right people, clearly passionate about looking after their customers for the long run, we put a deposit down there and then. Much credit has to be lauded upon Chloe for this. During the week unto the agreed collection time the vehicle was cleaned and prepped, MOT’d and several emails back and forth to purchase additional services (add-ons that we wanted), we collected the car on time, without much trouble at all. It would be remiss of me not to mention Kymberley C and Ed K, the dealership director who introduced himself in person and was involved via the emails to get where we needed to be and Kymberley who was helpful with the handover. We now have the pleasure to know the team and grateful for their assistance. Chloe called me a few days after collection to ensure that we were happy with the car (we are) and discuss final paperwork, all completed in a prompt and professional manner. Chloe has been fantastic throughout. Overall John Banks seem to be an impressive and genuinely caring dealership and hopefully in our case potential for a long-standing relationship.. as this is always easier with terrific people, so buying our first Honda was a good experience. I have no hesitation recommending Chloe and the team here.

United Kingdom | 31 January 2025When my Honda Civic was going in for a service, I spoke to Rhys (Sales Manager) at John Banks Honda Ipswich. I had previously mentioned to Rhys that I might consider a part exchange for my Honda Civic Ivtec as my wife struggled to get in and out of the vehicle, being so low to the ground. Rhys asked if I might consider changing to a Honda HRV. Whilst my car was being serviced, Rhys arranged for me to take a demo HRV home and test drive it with my wife. We immediately fell in love with the car, especially for the ease of getting in and out of the vehicle. The following morning, I was greeted by Rhys, who enquired how I got on with the demo car. From this point forward, there was no hard sell. He invited me to discuss whether I wanted to exchange my car or stick with it. The conversation was very matter of fact, and I learnt a lot about what the HRV had to offer. Rhys was extremely knowledgeable and explained all I needed to know about the HRV. He showed me a 2-year-old HRV on the forecourt, and I fell in love with the shape and colour of the Honda HRV. All finances were explained with various options, including exchanging my Civic. Rhys was very polite and personable throughout our discussion. On deciding that this was the next car for my wife and I, Rhys explained the processes and next steps to purchase the HRV. As previously mentioned, there was no hard sell, and he was there to answer any questions that I might have had. A day and time were arranged that was convenient for both Rhys and me and my wife to exchange details and paperwork. Following a warm welcome and a cup of coffee, Rhys took us to our new car. He made sure that we understood all the features of the new car and paired my Apple iPhone. Before leaving the dealership, Rhys said he would call us by phone in the next couple of days to see how I was getting on with the car, and if I had any queries, he would be more than happy to explain anything. At this point, the Director of the Dealership, Ed, welcomed my wife and me, thanking us for purchasing the car and confirming if we had any issues, we would not hesitate to get in touch with the dealership. I cannot fault John Banks Honda for such professionalism and attention to detail. Thanks, Rhys, for a very pleasant and welcoming experience when assisting my wife and me in driving a fabulous new car from your dealership.

As soon as we turned up and started looking around the car on the fore court Darren introduced himself to us. He was very friendly and gave us all the advice we asked him.
