Serviced my Pashley which has never been right since I bought it, the gears have never been right. It came back absolutely perfect, beautifully clean and with new tyres which two other shops had told me no one would be able to get as they are a strange old fashioned size and they even managed to get the same cork grips to keep it original. Thank you so much, very friendly smiley driver and Dave who called with my quote and updates is a very nice cheeky chappy

As a Mountain Bike Guide and Leader in the Alps, I am an experienced rider and do a fair amount of track side repairs myself. Each year I return to ride in the UK but before I do I always give my bike to Havebike to ensure that it is fully serviced and on top form. Great value, service and communication for when those unexpected repairs have to be carried out. Thank you

UPDATED - I had a very positive initial experience with havebike - I had two bikes serviced with you in July. However, there was an issue with one of the bikes that was serviced (a pedal fell off whilst my fiancé was cycling down a busy road) and I was unable to get in contact with the company as the numbers listed on your website and on previous emails with you all dialled as incorrect numbers. However, once the company did get in contact they kindly reimbursed the cost of having the pedal fixed at a bike shop and I am grateful for that.

No more expensive than local bike shop and both picked up and dropped off my bike after service - friendly staff who turned up on time and kept me fully informed throughout.

I needed some emergency work done on my Canyon road bike and, after trying my LBS (which was chocka with workshop bookings) and also Halfords (the bike mechanic hadn't even heard of the make Canyon before LOL), with no success, I searched online and discovered HaveBike. The entire process from beginning to end was faultless and I'll definitely be using them again. I've always found servicing my bikes a chore, having to go out of my way to take it to a workshop and typically be greeted by poor customer service. HaveBike completely alleviates those issues, working around you to collect, service and return your bike. Cannot recommend enough!

Original review below my response via email to their poor response(unable to add screenshots of proof). It seems not only do they do terrible work but will also insinuate that you are lying in their response to reviews on trustpilot. Ask yourself do you want to do work with this type of company before booking your service. My email response text unedited below. Hi, I find your response as poor as the work that you done on my bike. 1. I had barely rode the bike and a chain doesn't deteriorate over 15 miles so you clearly didn't check it as the Halfords mechanic said it was very far gone and was shocked that it had been serviced recently. 2. You did not inform me as you couldn't work out the issue as per the call with Nick that I had in relation to the issue. To fix it he said it needed a r/h shifter which it did not it actually needed a new chain and rear cassette which you didn't identify. 3. This is unbelievably cheeky response calling into question how much I have used my bike. I am primarily a runner and only cycle occasionally. I can show you that the bike hasn't been used by below activity on my Garmin running and cycling. I will also be kind enough to send you copy of the paperwork that you sent me in relation to the works (you claim you) carried out. Clearly you didn't check all the things and couldn't actually identify the actual problem which left me having to get it serviced by Halfords to fix the same issue it had before I sent it to you and spent £95 with your useless service. Best regards, Jack ORIGINAL REVIEW BELOW Got my bike serviced by them in April and hadn't really ridden it since. There was an issue with the gears slipping at the highest and lowest gears. Havebike called and said they were looking into it and it required a new RH shifter which would cost £45 on top of the £50 for the service which I agreed to. Since getting the bike back it had been slipping on the gears in the middle gears and I have only ridden it twice since it being serviced for a total of about 15 miles. I managed to get a governemnt vicuner for the fix your bike scheme and took it to Halfords. I described the issue to him and in under 30 seconds he had a tool on the chain measuring the wear. He said the chain was extremely worn which could of damaged the rear casette as well. When I mentioned that the bike had been recently serviced he was shocked as this was not something that should be missed even on the most basic of services. I have the paperwork from Havebike which has it filled in that this has been checked and the wear on the chain is less that 0.5. it cannot have been checked which leads me to worry what else has been missed on this. I emailed and left a voicemail to Havebike a few days ago giving them an opportunity to get back to me. I have not heard from them so I am posting this review to warn people that you could end up with a similar situation if using them.

I want to say after a rocky start with poor communication, the Havebike team really came through and did a good job with my bike. Email responses became timely, the staff were friendly and knowledgable. It was a warranty repair to replace a faulty part so I can't speak about value for money, but the quality of service was excellent. Loan bike should be on a like-for-like basis, the cool Brompton replacement while useful was a naff ride compared to my own!

I was just about to head out on a day long cycle when I discovered that I needed an emergency tire repair early on a Sunday morning. Havebike was the only outfit open and the Havebike chap not only went out of his way to help me and but he made sure I had a spare inner tube as well. My day was saved. I was well impressed

Amazing service from booking to bike delivery! Easy to book online and fixed my bike in just a couple of days. They come to pick up/deliver your bike at your door step and you have full visibility on reparation requirements/price breakdown. Lovely customer service, definitely recommend the service.

Not the cheapest service but my ten year old bike feels like new and Havebike went above and beyond in their efforts. The collect and drop off service works like a dream and Havebike were clear in their updates and cost estimates.

Brilliant service, start to finish. HaveBike collected my old, neglected bike on a Tuesday, and, by Friday, it was returned to me (as if by magic) — fully serviced, cleaned and ready for the road. On top of a great service (which comes with a guarantee), they offer great with customer service, using technology and the human touch to stay in contact throughout the process. It’s fantastic to be back on my bicycle, which feels like new. I just wish they could service my ancient, creaking knees, too!
