United Kingdom | 08 August 2019Accidentally booked wrong date. I emailed them Straight away to try and resolve the problem. They still havnt got back to me a day later, the phone number never works and Iv has to go through the hotels itself to amend the date which cost me extra overall!

United States | 08 August 2019I chose a less than credible hotel and when I showed up for check-in the hotel had no rooms for me. I got the "run around" from them, but Alex Fitch from customer service with NuStay, was able to settle the dispute and get the refund processed back to my account within 24 hours. He is the man! His customer service and ability to connect with people is unparalleled. I was super frustrated with the whole situation the night of but by the next morning he had squared everything away for me and the follow ups were phenomenal. Definitely indebted to him for assisting me through trying times. I sincerely appreciate his time and assistance and the fact that he went to bat for me. I owe this man a drink. Thanks for your help Mr. Fitch.

I have contacted them more than a week ago to the email info...and no answer. I wrote to them again today and this is what I got: Your message to the email provided couldn't be delivered, conciere wasn't found at nustay.com.....

They take payment from your card (a "pre-authorisation", but it comes off your balance and if it's cancelled will take 14 days to return to your balance) BEFORE confirming that a room is available at the hotel for that price. THEN they say that they can book a room for a HIGHER price at the same hotel but if they are sold out they can book at another hotel for you, again at a HIGHER price. Unethical business practice and incredibly misleading. Edit: reply to response. The hotels they are offering after this are an extra $80-100 AUD more than originally booked. It's a SCAM

Albania | 08 August 2019My experience is that Nustay sent me confirmation voucher but when I showed it to the hotel, the staff no booking for you. The money was taken next day. This caused me concernes which I did not expect before.

Canada | 08 August 2019Site claims refund available but then refuses to refund...Claims you can email their "Emergency" email for refund, but then ignores the email...Claims hotel refuses to refund but hotel says not so...This platform refers your booking to Expedia, so is just another layer between customer and lodging... Avoid these bad apples or it will cost you...

United Kingdom | 07 August 2019First time I used nustay, booking didn't get confirmed - apparently the hotel had a limited number of offer rooms and didn't update their system to cope. But was kept in the loop via email and payment was cancelled, eventually. Second time, different hotel and hadn't noticed booking didn't include breakfast. Tried to cancel within short canx window and also contacted hotel directly But between nustay and hotel, they managed to agree to add complimentary breakfast to the booking. Result! Lots of emails to update me and unusually for an online hotel agency, was in 'first language' English. Would definitely use again.

United States | 07 August 2019NuStay posts low prices to attract you (I found them through Google Hotels), but then, after you enter your credit card info, they inform you that the price has changed -- and that it's a few more hundred more than originally posted. This happens consistently. I'm convinced this is purposeful deceit, in part because they continue to post the low price to lure you in (if you try to search from a different device or browser, for example). Big waste of time if you're looking for savings.
