United States | 12 August 2019I booked a hotel room through Nustay after my flight was cancelled in Newark, NJ and needed a hotel room for the night. I booked at the airport, took an Uber to the hotel (about 40 mins.) and they had no record of the reservation. Had to pay out of pocket. Received an email the next morning from the Customer Service Rep. apologizing for the unfortunate incident. I love new start ups and young companies, but this wouldn't have happened had I gone through Expedia or Travelocity. I might give Nustay another shot in the future, but if you value speed and reliability, I'd suggest giving them more time to get established.

Many web sites add extras whilst making a booking (taxes etc) so that the price you started with OR were attracted to the web site with may very quickly change and increase. This is clearly a dirty marketing trick.... No such rubbish here on Nustay!

I recently requested that they refund me for a booking, and despite the fact that the hotel agreed to authorize a refund, they have been TERRIBLY SLOW at responding and updating me with the process

I checked my email after and they charged me €140 for the room. I have rang them they won't answer and not replying to my emails either. This website is very dodgy and will not be using this service again!!!!!!!!!!!

The reservation is for tonight, already sent 2 emails with NO RESPONSE and the PHONE NUMBER does not work!!! The worst booking website I ever used with terrible customer support!!!

United States | 09 August 2019I cannot believe the despicable service of this site. Their phone number does not work claiming high call volumes at all times. They also do not answer emails with the urgency they claim. I booked a room a few days ago and the hotel has no booking under my name. And yes, it was spelled correctly with the information i provided and looked over three times. It was even correct in the confirmation they provided me. I messaged the website and they responded once stating they would fix it with “urgency”. That was 12 hours ago and my trip is tomorrow. I’ve emailed 3 times since with no response and will be reporting them for fraudulent activity. My money was taken and I received 3 “booking confirmation numbers”. None of them seem to exist with the hotel yet again I repeat, my money was taken from my account the day of. If there were any problems, they should have messaged or called me and that was not done either. Now my trip will not be happening due to lack of hotels availability at this time & high prices. Seriously, just book through Expedia or something. At least they’ll answer your questions.

United States | 09 August 2019Booked a terrible moldy hotel. Tried calling nustay. They said to message the "emergency" email. I did that. Didnt get a response until 130 AM. I had to go to the pharmacy for emergency asthma medication after 45 min in the hotel. I havent needed medication for over ten years. After I got that response I tried to respond. I wanted my money back so I could find a different hotel. No contact. Garbage customer service.
