Never finished the transaction. Could not get a proper response. Could possibly be a machine, seemed non-human. Anyway I got sorted with another provider. Makes you wonder though, I have 4 high value cars insured with Star, this one was low value, would be a rounding error value-wise. Probably should have known better.

I took my camper to the Autotech guys to repair the paintwork on the bonnet. They informed me that there was hail damage on the bonnet and advised me to contact Star insurance company. Although the hailstorm was in 2019 and the damage hadn't been picked up at the time, they accepted the claim and told the Auto guys to go ahead and repair the damage, under the initial claim. You can't beat that kind of service.

I brought a motorcycle and needed coverage straight away so I could ride it home safely. Got covered that day. Super easy and quick

The claims that I have made are dealt with out any fuss as we live in our caravan and travel the country and work everything is done on line as we have no fixed address. I feel guilty when making a claim but the team puts me a ease and deals with it professionally I plan on staying with star insurance for this reason
