My Chevrolet Corvair is a very rare classic. I was rear ended and because this car has a rear engine. I was very worried that the damage would write this car off. I spoke to my panel beater first they told me it would be 6months before they could start. I then filed a claim and was over the moon that they would cover all costs. The Star insurance assor was very understanding and to my relief, he did have some knowledge of this type of vehicle. I have now received my car back after the repairs and it is as good as before the accident. I'm very happy with Star insurance. I also have my other classic car with this company

End of 2022 we sold our bus and brought an English caravan. Left home boxing day on our first trip away, when we got to our destination and removed the front cover, we found the outer of the center window had broken. We contacted Star who were very helpful and lodged our claim. On our return a repairer was organized and they communicated with Star so all I had to do was drop the caravan off and pick it up. Overall a rather pleasant experience, full points to Star for making it so easy.

I have been insured with star insurance for many many years for my classic car, i have not yet made a claim but i requested my insurance amount be increased by a bit a few years ago they worked with me closely to have the agreed price increased where we were both happy.

On 27th January I had my motor home flooded. Unfortunately it was not repairable. The company arranged to have it towed away. Advised what was happening during the process and settled my claim as quickly as was possible. I am still waiting for one settlement from my house and contents insurer. Highly recomend Star as an insurer. Very easy to deal with and shows empathy for the situation.

YEARS AGO A CONTENT CLAIM, GOT THIER RUN AROUND. A GLASS CLAIM EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE. However current years have been claim free with increased premium, from witch I wish we could separate out type of use covers.
