Friendly and fast communication. Reasonable premiums reflecting they understand that car enthusiasts with high performance cars aren't necessarily "Hoons" on public roads.

‘Lost’ my original claim and took them a further two weeks to even start doing anything about it. They state payment with 48 hours then send screenshots of a random form they filled in to say it is paid when it isn’t. Over one week on from payment date and still no money in my account. Absolute shizters!

After shopping around for an appropriate insurance company, we were thrilled to stumble across Star Insurance Specialist. They offered a great price, and the service has always been professional and helpful.

The staff are wonderful and very friendly and helpful. I have not been with them that long but my interactions with Star have been great. It's great to have an insurance company that makes it a pleasure to contact them. I recently did a track day with a car club i belong to, and they had a staff member there also to help out if anyone had forgotten to set up track insurance. I have not needed to make a claim as yet, but should the need ever arise, I believe I will be looked after.

The process was quick and simple. I received an online quote which was well laid out ad very easy to read and understand compared with a few others I also received. When I rung to confirm the policy and ask a few questions, the team member was extremely friendly and helpful.

We have had a couple of claims over the last 5 years and each claim Star Insurance have been excellent to deal with. Wonderful customer service and very quick to approve the quotes for repairs once the repairer had submitted them.

I love that I can always speak to a kiwi person in NZ. After Insuring more than 6 bikes I have always found the Star team to be knowledgeable and helpful, all with a great sense of humour. No claims so far but my confidence is high that that end of the process will be just as straightforward.

I have only had to phone Star Insurance to set up the policy, (my choice of contact). the staff I talked to explained every thing I needed to know, in an easily understandable way. the policy for my classic car is by far the most comprehensive and best price I could get. I don't even compare other companies now, I just pay up and relax. 4 years on and completely satisfied .

Star insurance responded to my claim very rapidly and without question. Frequent phone calls to check on progress with repairs were also appreciated.

I believe it is the experience of Star Insurance's management team which makes the difference when comparing it to other insurers. The staff at Star are very capable and I believe this confidence filters down from the management team. All team members are empowered to do their job and it shows through in spades.
