I lost a new ATV in the hawkes bay floods. My brokers Kiwibike were very quick to get the paperwork to me and quick to get it to Star who were fantastic to deal with. My claim was settled within 2 weeks of the flood and at a level that i was happy with. The representative from Star rang me personally and after a brief and friendly discussion i had a fair result. would never go anywhere else. Kiwibike are also great brokers

Had an unfortunate incident, by way of a building fire. Star responded instantly and professionally. a couple of hiccups from service providers on the way, not Star's fault, but they picked up the ball and ran with it. Great people to deal with, straight up, trustworthy and reliable.

These guys were just very easy to deal with. It is a lot easier to do business when the person you are speaking to knows what type of vehicle you are insuring, whether a valuation is reasonable etc. Well done.

STAR Insurance is simply the best insurance company I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. The staff actively listen and send regular 'update' emails which really helped me to 'trust the process'. STAR went 'above and beyond' with my situation, contacting the assessor on my behalf to quicken the process as I wasn't having any luck on my end. We have been with Star for more than 3 year's. Though we have only had one claim in that time it is a great feeling of reassurance that someone is prepared to help should the unthinkable happen. We all feel that insurance can be expensive at the best of times but frankly I wouldn't be without it. STAR from the beginning have been helpful and informative. Highly recommended!

We purchased our Caravan New in Jan 2020 and it had developed a leak within 2.5 years. The leak became evident when we went away for a few days to Waihi in October last year. We contacted Star Insurance on our return only to discover we weren't covered for a slow progressive leak which was most disappointing. Not withstanding that fact Star Insurance did offer a settlement which was gratefully received. I found Star Insurance an absolute pleasure to deal with and the advice offered was extremely valuable. A huge thumbs up to Star Insurance and the Auckland Team.

As a caravan owner I have always found Star Insurance good to deal with, easy to lodge and progress a claim with, and always price competitive. What is there not to like.
