Great gift although a little expensive as is made of plastic. A bit fragile which was tail wing was broken when assembling

AMS are now a bigger company it seems and are doing models over different genre's,hence the service has gone down hill a bit in my view! My beef with them of late is the postage/packing is cheap!! Just plain brown paper for protection, (cost saving on their part,yet still charging same amount). Don't get me wrong,they always send the model in good condition and amazingly as of the JUST brown paper for protection , so far,touch wood,none of the boxes have been damaged! They use to negotiate over prices if you found better online with ,it seems their now CEO BEN.He is no longer frontline i think...??.I asked his team to consider "pay upon release " and they opted for the payment system like a debt pay off scheme.Forgot the name,its well known on many internet sites ! For me, thats no good as you could wait a year or more in some cases for a model to arrive,certain brands etc.So,thats a big disappointment they still want money upfront ,no pre-order anymore and once in, pay them off for delivery! Use to send a PayPal Request etc. So ,i have reviewed them before but i thought i give them another review as they keep sending me emails to review them on this platform! Yes,they send what you order! Are they trust-worthy? Yes but money upfront lol....have they lost custom from me,oh yes....i don't order as much as i did from them! . A fellow competitor wins most my orders as they are PREPARED to offer," pay upon release" ! No issues,no trouble and no having to use a payment /credit company for instalments pay offs! Overall,they are Ok but they have annoying traits. I will say one thing,they are the cheapest on average around,but cheapest is not always what i command,quality postage and packing and i ,myself am prepared to pay the odd few quid over their prices to one of their competitors who are more expensive and i am led to believe order products from them to sell on their website as of the better quality .attention ,to customer service.I will not mention their name but those in the collecting game reading this will know who i am on about! Older boys lol... As i have noticed they have not replied,as like with their emails,could not give a toot,really!!! Well,your loss then! Its the same with their emails,their replies seem to be almost a snooty in a way of,its our way or the highway"! They really are not interested in your views at all! As said has gone down in customer service and attitude since i first dealt with them! in 2015/16 area! ========================================= My response to their reply as of 11/9/23. They finally responded,fine but the issue is still there! Joshua can red it ,why should i keep explaining it. As said,they are a good reliable company but with some annoying traits! >> Cheap packing protection !!! Not even bubble-wrap used,just brown paper,OK so far so good i've been lucky with orders but one day it will fail!! So returns it will be then. Yes they are they cheapest around as a whole in the UK i will give them that and they send what the paper on the tin says etc. its just the attitude that pisses me off! G. I just cannot understand why they cannot just do pre-order and pay upon release.Once in,email and pay-off with paypal etc, SO BLOODY EASY!!!! Why do i need to explain something they use to do at AMS. There is no need of debate and if its a long time customer who has never let you down with payment,whats the issue then?? No need for a debate and long emails back and forth Joshua.Either do or don't but other will take orders from you as they are prepared to offer this payment way to collectors.

I have ordered 4 models from aircraft model store and they have arrived in perfect conditions except 1, my a330 1:200 from geminijets had 1 broken piece. Other than that I absolutely adore the models, they are beautiful. One more thing.. Although the website has a LOT of discounted models and it seems like the best deal ever, I do not recommend ordering outside of the uk because the customs prices where CRAZY. I had to put 97 dollars to taxes at Europe. I only ordered from here because how great the prices where. But I regret ordering from here because of taxes. I DO NOT suggest ordering from here if you aren't from the uk. Find a local retailer or a shop inside your continent so you won't have to pay tax fees. Anyways, it was a fine experience other than those extra fees I had to pay. Delivery time was quicker than I thought.

I've received the plane today which I've ordered a week ago and this looks very good. Unfortunately I've had to pay customs clearance costs in order to receive the plane because this was considered to be a package from outside the EU.

The amount of times I have bought from this store and have been extremely satisfied with customer service is incredible. I have never felt let down by aircraft model store. Packaging is always good standard products are never broken or damaged and prices are insanely cheap compared to competitors. The only thing holding back a 5 star rating is the couriers used. While I fully understand it’s not AMS fault that the deliveries are late or don’t come. I would appreciate a better choice of delivery.

I ordered a model from them 6 months ago, I’ve still not received it and don’t even have a delivery date. They offered we my money back or to purchase an alternative model, but I want this specific model for my collection. Yet on their website they are still advertising this model for sale with the option of next day delivery ? Something smells fishy!!!🤔
