Another great experience with ordering, would totally recommend

I ordered some planes for my son for Christmas to find that one had arrived damaged (a wheel had fallen off the landing gear and was damaged). I emailed on boxing day and to AMS credit, they replied swiftly the following day and said this could be returned for a refund as they didn't have another plane in stock. This is where it starts to go downhill! After receiving an email to say the plane had arrived back at their warehouse, I was told to expect a refund within 1-2 days... that was back on 5th January! It's now the 7th February and I still have no refund despite numerous emails and the standard response of this issue being with the "finance team". I can accept a week or so delay with it being after Christmas but after 3 times of chasing this up and being no closer to a refund this is unacceptable! I was so impressed with the customer service to start with but since my return arrived back at their warehouse it's been nothing short of a joke! I won't be ordering through them again!

Ordering, stock & delivery all good. UNTIL you return something. Over 3 weeks waiting for a refund for several items. Numerous emails back and forth to just keep getting the same generic response. I have never known anything like it. *Always pay via debit/credit card so you can raise a chargeback.* Update - After this review and calling several times, it has now been refunded.

First class service. Not used previously, but made an order. Promptly received, well packaged, no complaints. Would recommend.

Purchased a Phoenix A340 and unfortunately a nose wheel tyre was missing. I returned the item and it arrived back with AMS 8th January, since then I have not received a refund, every time I email I get the same response and excuse that they are snowed under with returns and haven't processed mine. I have provided the tracking number, after this amount of time I would have thought it simpler to refund their customer not consistently embarrass themselves that they don't have enough staff, and worse that so much of their stock is being returned. I don't want to wait 2 months as a previous customer had to for their refund, and where the owner said it wouldn't happen again.

Arrived on time and undamaged

Tomorrow marks the 2 month anniversary of waiting for a refund from Aircraft Model Store. We placed an order for several 1/400 models for my son for Christmas to add to his collection. Upon placing the order I realised I had ordered one plane in error and got in touch immediately to cancel said plane. I received an email back saying the order had been processed already but they would remove the plane in question and organise the refund for me. I was initially pleased with this, and told I would have the refund in 5-7 days. After a couple of weeks the refund hadn’t been done, so I got in contact and was told it would be chased up as a matter of urgency. Another couple of weeks passed and again I got in touch to say I still hadn’t had my refund, and again I got the same answer. Since then I have tried several more times to chase up the money I am owed, and each time have had the promise that someone will contact the billing department as a priority. As mentioned earlier, tomorrow will be the 2 month mark since I was told I’d receive my refund and I continue to be given the runaround. This level of customer service is an absolute disgrace, and after spending close to £1000 over the last 18 months or so planes it’s safe to say I will no longer be using this company for any future purchases.

Very quick delivery on a plane ordered on the 18th December, arrived on the 20th, just in time, phew! Thank you, my son was very happy with his Gemini Jet.

This company has got better and better always good with comms, always willing to please and always puts the customer first. AND a perfect example of this is when I ordered a model only to find it was out of stock so when I made them aware of this they fixed it so now you always know if the model is available before you order because it would say "Out of Stock" which is great for the disconcerting collector of die cast in the hunt for the more collectable items.

Fantastic service, communication and airplanes! A very happy ten year old aviation loving son. Even though a couple of models were delayed from supplier, the communication was outstanding throughout!
