Craig has just provided what I can only describe as an absolutely top notch service, for both the sale (council as leaseholder) and purchase (where I became the joint freeholder and leaseholder) of flats in london. I was recommended by a friend and really could not believe that FletcherLongstaff had an almost 100% 5 star review rating. How could a conveyancer be this good amongst an industry where the vast majority are average at best? Well…. they really are. Top points for me: 1) When I phoned it would be Craig (the solicitor) answering, not a junior or EA acting as gate keeper like previous conveyancers I’d dealt with. 2) If Craig didn’t answer he would always call back the same day - usually within a couple of hours. 3) Craig had time for every question and I never felt that he was trying to hurry a conversation along. 4) The online portal clearly lists out all the steps in the conveyancing process and every document received is uploaded to it by Craig. Yes, there are still a few emails back and forth, but the vast majority of the correspondence and all the important documents are clearly named and dated on the portal. At the end of each transaction you simply log on and download them all. 4) Craig provides a letter at the beginning of the process outlining all the steps and the detail behind them so you know what to expect 5) There was not one error or mistake in any of the paperwork; something that cannot be said for two other conveyancers I’ve used. 6) It was never Craig we were waiting for during what was a drawn out transaction. As soon as he received searches/queries/emails, his response would usually be same day (queries & emails) and 24-48hrs for the more meaty tasks like collating the pack after all the searches came back. If you are thinking of going with someone else because they are cheaper or local or a friend has recommended them - just don’t. Unless they have 500+ 5 star reviews on trustpilot I know you’ll be disappointed. My brother and a close friend decided to go with other firms and both regretted it. However, those friends that have now used Craig have all been astounded, like I was, at his service and quality of work. Stop reading these reviews and sign FletcherLongstaff up!
