Worst bike Rental company ever I wanted to rent an electronic bike twice one time when I arrived at the destination there was no bike the other time it took money from me four times and they said we have received it twice. And those two times will be refunded so I just took the metro

The bikes are getting so much worse. It’s rare to find one that hasn’t got any tech issues. Just got tired of reporting on every trip. On top of that, they’re doing some stupid “leave your bike only where we want” campaign. I had to take the bike 1km away from my previously acceptable location just so I don’t get charged a fine. Super annoyed with this. Loyal customer for many trips and you make me walk 15 min at 2am just because its not convenient for you??! Fck you, donkey! 🫏

Bike lock didn’t want to close, fumbled with it for too long, couldn’t end rent, popped the bike in my garage and dreaded the conversation with customer service… Woke up, went to work, started the chat… chatbot connected me straight to a live chat, no bot conversation… wow ☺️ Floris asked how he could help, I explained the situation… And Floris just simply helped me out… No explanation on conditions, no bull about “I wish I could help, but”. Just believed I did the best I could in the situation, ended rent at the hour I told him. Arranged a way to pick up the bike that suited me and wished me a good day. This is customer service at it’s finest, wish this was how every service company treated their customers! Going to be using Donkey as a standard for my commutes instead of other ride shares because of this!

Eigentlich ein Super-Konzept, was überzeugt. Die Fahrräder sind (noch) in einem guten Zustand und praktisch für die Innenstadt (Hannover). Leider sind die Abgabepunkte in den Randbereichen/Stadtteilen der City zu knapp und in den Haltestellenbereichen des ÖVP sehr schnell ausgeschöpft, das könnte/sollte auf jeden Fall noch aufgestockt bzw. ausgeweitet werden.

overall not bad, but one SUPER STUPID feature is a total experience killer - parking xp. Basically I always check the drop off locations before renting and unlocking a bike and make my itinerary to that location, but when I arrive, park the bike etc. - the drop off locations have changed already and you can no longer park there (although literally 7 min ago it was a valid drop off location) - suuuuper annoying, will not be continuing my subscription after current period runs out. At least Bicing (barcelona bike service) parking stations don't "move around".

I have rented for 6 hours in Barcelona and it was way better than bus / metro transportation. Friendly app, amazing integration with bike, no issues at all.

You'd be better off renting a bike from a company for how many days you need it. This company has okay prices but the bikes are so badly maintained. As I was renting E bikes with my partner when one died obviously one had to be left with it. We were charged for fees and one fee of 50 euro which they still haven't refunded. Luckily I paid through PayPal so it was easy to dispute, but not worth the hassle at all, just after a holiday. RESPONSE: They tried to have my review removed. Also ps it's not logical to expect customers to push an Ebike miles that has died, they should last for the advertised km. RESPONSE 2: I didn't try to delete my account to avoid the fees. I wanted to delete my account before I deleted the app because I didn't want you to have my data, as I am NEVER using your company again. Remember the saying about making ASSumptions? Also I did contact your customer services about issues with the bikes but it took so long that I didn't bother again until I was back home. I'm on holiday I'm not going to spend all of my time talking to you. PayPal gave me my money back, I'm just warning others to just rent a bike for the time they need it, from a company, as yours are pointless AND you get charged extra fees due to them dying etc. Whereas if you rent one for the whole time you're there you just keep it and charge up the bike yourself and saves the absolute f on like I had using donkey bikes. UPDATE: They just tried to have my review removed! Your review was flagged for containing defamatory content.
