United Kingdom | 23 February 2025Seems like they're focusing more of selling product on Whatnot at above RRP than selling through their website. Price gouging at its most basic. Prismatic Evolutions listed as out of stock on the website yet selling packs at 2.5x RRP on stream

Netherlands | 17 February 2025EXPECT LONG DELAYS (Products are on Back order) Not clearly displayed that products are on back order and not in warehouse when you buy them. Had to wait 3 months for my product and when I asked for compensation due to the delay they just cancelled my order and provided a refund of the origional price. This is just stupid when you consider the product is now 3x the price on the secondary market and that supposedly buying these products in November would guarantee the gifts arive by christmas. DO NOT ORDER PRODUCTS if you need them by a certain deadline or as a gift. No guarantee of timeline and completely reliant on their supposedly extremely slow suppliers.

United Kingdom | 16 February 2025Horrable, absolute disaster, unbelivably slow. I have purchased items from this shop many times and it just gets worse and worse as time goes on. No extra stickers anymore, no good communication and devastatingly long delays for delivery. 2 days delivery? How about an almost whole month of waiting for 2 pack sleeves that were 'being waited on backorders' just to delay my whole order of items over 20 pounds, 3 different emails of me asking them what's the reason for that delay and them sending me the same copy-pasted answer, just to make me change the order for items they have on stock for little bit less than the amount I paid, not accepting to return my money back aaaand not even giving me any extra booster or extra card sleeve pack or a sticker or a grain of rice for that matter (not to mention that I didn't pulled anything good). Absolute horse crap site, I will never buy again and believe that they owe me money for all my waiting and delay they caused. Liars and unreliable service. Search for a different site

United Kingdom | 28 January 2025They're scalpers with a shop. 10 days after Prismatic Evolutions releases they've got booster packs up for £9.95, presumably ripped from boxes that should've been sold to customers at RRP. Scum of the earth, genuinely the worst TCG shop I've ever dealt with.

United Kingdom | 26 January 2025I ordered an "in stock" skeledirge premium collection and a paldean fates tin for Black Friday (way back in Nov 2024). I have been told many times they are "expecting stock in", but have had to chase constantly. No attempt at a resolution and Ryan in customer care stops replying as soon as you refuse store credit or to wait. My product still shows as in stock for in store pickup, so why can't they fulfill the order? Still awaiting a response to that question or a refund. I'd be willing to change this review to reflect their actions should there be any.

United Kingdom | 24 January 2025I along with many others had a delayed Surging Sparks order having ordered 6 booster boxes on 2nd October (a month before release) and eventually receiving a week ago. Although incredibly frustrating, I can’t fault the customer service from Ryan, responding to emails in good time even though there were little updates available. I have bought from Total Cards many times before and always had a good experience with them and so kept my pre order active. All in all other than being delayed, which was out of their control, my order was not cancelled and it arrived at the price original paid for it (under £100 a box) although market price had rocketed. Essentially doing what they should do, in an environment where many others are not.

United Kingdom | 20 January 2025With the current demand situation with prismatic evolution, this company is showing out of stock on their site, Yet are using stock to sell on a live platform called what not for double/triple the amount. Terrible exploitation from a business

United Kingdom | 15 January 2025Yes I'm another customer who placed a pre order that waited two months, missed out on a major Xmas present and ended up cancelling the order. This is the second time a pre order has not been delivered. Other sites have the item in stock. They probably raise revenue through orders they can not fulfill. Never order a pre order. Disappointed their email didn't even apologise when they said they were processing a refund. Emailed them a week ago simply saying "The moment they arrive, we will ensure they are shipped out to you as quickly as possible." Do they ever arrive one wonders. Do not use.

United Kingdom | 13 January 2025These used to be alright but have recently degraded sadly. I've made dozens of orders with them but I won't be ordering anymore. They regularly oversell products that they don't and won't have stock for so you end up waiting weeks if not months or infinitely for a delivery when you pre-ordered a product months before it's release. The final straw for me is I now have orders with Total Cards with products that they claim to have in stock, and yet have been sitting unfulfilled for several weeks. I just can't trust this store to actually deliver on orders I make with them. I'd rather pay a little more elsewhere. They've also started some rather predatory practices - if you look at their stock of new and highly demanded expansions for Pokemon, such as Prismatic Evolutions, you will notice they only sell them bundled with other products. They are using peoples demands for this expansion to sell off stock of other less-wanted products. It's completely unacceptable. @TotalCards I would recommend you stop selling products you don't have, or hire more staff to fulfill the orders for products you do have if backlogs are literal weeks long.

United Kingdom | 12 January 2025Discusting, I pre ordered a Terapagos upc October 19th. Over lots of messages with Ryan, Alex and another it's obvious one doesn't check with the other before messaging. In the end I have ended up with no upc which was ment to be for Christmas. From seeing other comments this is a re-ocuring trait. To further from this clearly can see no respect for pre-order customers. But the worst is they lied about refund time in an email from Ryan I was told 3-5 days then an automated email saying 10 days then Alex tried to pass the blame onto bank processing.

United Kingdom | 30 December 2024I ordered a product from this company, to give as a christmas gift. I ordered this item (that was not cheap) on 23rd November. The website stated it was released in December. After not receiving any communication of dispatch, I decided to email them to ensure my order was received. It was then that they decided to tell me there was a delay in them receiving this item and they were hoping it will be received at some point in those first 2 weeks in December. I didn't think it was a problem, as these things do happen. But again, after no notification, I had to chase them again. Only for them to say they are still waiting. This time I requested they please keep me updated, as this is meant to be a gift and I needed to know if it would arrive in time. They did nothing. I had to chase everytime, so I raised a complaint. I wasnt able to give this product as a gift at christmas, in fact the individual got nothing apart from an apology and me having to explain it should be arriving soon It is now 29th December, I see no hope in this product arriving this month! I have requested a full refund now, so we will see if they are able to do that or show how truly incompetent they are. I have gone on to order this product elsewhere, where funnily enough, it has already arrived (and was cheaper) and have given it to the individual who's gift it was, apologetically. In future I recommend Total Cards make it very clear on their website that delays can occur, which are out of their control, but should state they will do everything in their power to ensure this does not happen. The most frustrating thing has been the poor communication. Emails should be issued to those people whose orders are affected. Even if it is a generic email and only advises they are still waiting. Any communication is better than none. This will also likely reduce the amount of complaints they receive. Which I have investigated and looks as though they get a lot, but down play it on websites, such as this. As you can see from the top of the page, they are showing misleading information and the star rating may not be correct. I can tell you now. There are a lot more complaints with this company than they show!

United Kingdom | 21 December 2024Total cards are just awesome, they always deliver quickly, even at busy times like Christmas, prices are competitive, and they always package everything with that little extra care and usually throw in a tiny little bonus too.

United Kingdom | 18 December 2024I pre-ordered a Prismatic Evolutions Elite Trainer Box from Total Cards and received an order number and order confirmation. Subsequently, without any further communication, Total Cards cancelled my pre-order and issued a refund notification. According to the refund notification, I now have to wait for up to 10 days for the refund to appear in my account. I can only assume that they are overselling or planning to sell at inflated prices after release. Be careful who you place pre-orders with.

United Kingdom | 02 December 2024These guys are really good. The prices are good, the service is amazing and they respond to all messages and emails super quickly. I now look at them over other providers who dont seem to be able to ship and cope during busy periods. I have placed several successive orders after the first one.

United Kingdom | 19 November 2024pre-ordered 6 booster boxes of the new Pokémon set and still have not received the item. I got a reply 6 days ago stating they had received stock and will get it out as soon as possible. Altogether it has been 10 days since release and still not received the item. I have spent a lot of money on this and now looking to cancel the order.

United Kingdom | 13 November 2024Pre-ordered 2 booster boxes of the new Pokemon set Surging Sparks. They arrived 4 days after release date but that wasn’t such a big issue for me. The issue was both boxes arrived damaged with big slits to the seal, one with a crushed corner. Not sure how/why there were slits on both but I can’t recommend this site for sealed collectors. Packaging wasn’t great - boxes were stacked on top of each other with almost no protection.

United Kingdom | 11 November 2024Do not use for enticingly priced pre-orders. Not enough ordered to fulfil commitments and no estimate for delivery despite the set being released in every shop 4 days ago.

United Kingdom | 09 November 2024Pre ordered the new Pokémon set for release and delivery on the 8th November. Today is the 9th with no sign of the item or any communication from total cards a with a reason or expected delivery day. Very very frustrating considering I can't cancel the order and buy it elsewhere as I used Klana 3 pay and have already paid 2 out of 3 payments! Will not be using total cards for pre-orders in the future which is a shame as had good experiences up to this point. *Edit Changed to a 3* as I have now received my product. Can't give more as the least I'd expect for a pre-order is to get the item on release day!

United Kingdom | 08 November 2024I had ordered some card sleeves to go along with the new Yu-gi-oh set that was for pre order and it turns out total cards was withholding the order as the sleeves were on backorder and not in stock so my order got delayed which i only found out through their customer support which was incredibly helpful and i asked to have them replaced with other sleeves in stock so they could ship it asap which they did! Thank you Ryan at Total Cards for sorting this out for me, I'll be back again for sure!
