We are a startup and used 3D hubs to help with prototypes and production. They were extremely helpful and communicative throughout the entire process. They helped us through some dfm challenges and overall we are extremely pleased with their services.

MJF prints came out well; very impressed with print quality and accessibility, as other mfg service providers' powder bed fusion offerings are out of reach.

I had a very unique problem (I thought) - I had a 1974 Hobie Cat with a failed part in the upper tip of the mast (the "sheave" pulley). This is a critical part for the operation of the sails. Without it, the boat would not be usable. The boat (and design) is so old that no one (and I looked hard) had a replacement part. Fortunately, I found 3D Hubs!!! I was also fortunate to have a friend who could create the 3D design and 3D Hubs was the PERFECT solution to create the replacement part (I actually ordered 2). 3D's support team guided me to the correct material and process for my application. With less than 10 minutes effort, I had the order completed and in the promised time frame, I had my replacement part (and a backup). The replacement is an exact fit and performs exactly as needed. We have used 3D Hubs to increase our capacity over the last few months and I see no reason not to ramp up our production needs through them. Great Service, on time delivery, zero Non Conformances to date.

Succinctly; we opted for 3D hubs for rapid manufacturing because of a product with a short lead time. After accepting payment and their online system taking the order on, over the space of 2 weeks our order was bounced back at us with a seemingly helpful directive from a customer service agent that never materialised. We consequently lost out on a job which means time, money and business wasted. DO NOT USE FOR RAPID PROTOTYPING. This company is suitable for low urgency projects and tinkerers, not professional engineers and designers.

The following are reasons why I use 3D Hub for my 3D printing. Easy to upload files to print. Good variety of material choices. Fast turn around to complete the order. Great email communication throughout the process. Fair and reasonable prices.

Purchased parts because our company MRIaudio Inc. got into a bind with our current supplier and the Chinese New Year. 3D Hubs assured us that they could get the parts to us within 15 days. They then informed me they could not get the parts to us within 15 days and we cancelled the order. They only cancelled half the order and said that production for the other half had already begun. Quote 2ZSS4FDJ was paid for in FULL and not shipped for another 3 weeks after the promised delivery date. I told them we no longer want or need the parts and they won't respond. DO NOT TRUST THEM.

It's a great idea, but unfortunately 3dhubs messed up my orders so many times that now I no longer use them. Not one of my orders has been problem free, and I've done injection molding, SLS 3d printing, and a good amount of CNC machining. Right now I'm waiting on an order that is two months late. Another order that is 3weeks late. 3dhubs cannot control their vendors so when asked about shipping dates they throw their hands up and say they can't get in contact with the vendor. Emails go days without being answered. Then, when the parts are received, they have issues also. On a small $11k job for some anodized aluminum parts, I had ordered some red, blue, and black colors. It arrived all black. This sort of thing happens every time. Then there's the web "bait and switch" tool they use. You put in your part, check the quantity pricing, and then submit. Then you get an email later with a much higher quote. They won't even honor what the web tool quoted you! This is the DEFINITION of bait and switch, folks. This sad performance made me contact CNC and injection molding sites on my own, directly. And surprise, the prices I got back were much better than what 3dhubs manually quoted me (oh, and getting a quote takes a week at least, and on one, it took them 4 weeks to get it back to me – still loaded with errors and bloated pricing). So my advice to you is, use google to find reputable shops in China. There are many great places that will give you a good deal and that are trustworthy. Once I found out really how easy it is, there was no reason to stick around with 3dhubs. Too many delays, too many errors, too much lost sales opportunity caused by their inefficiencies. Oh, I forgot to mention that the 3d prints I received were terrible and they refunded my money after trying to fix it with a new print 3 times. Don't waste your time here if you are working toward a deadline.

I had two sets of parts printed. They were either not cured correctly or printed with the wrong material. 3D Hubs' customer service was very helpful in getting replacement parts on order. Overall, the experience was easy and I would use this service again.

A vast variety of prices and materials, great detailing, fast service, easy to use, fantastic customer service. Totally recommended.

Used 3D Hubs for a project and it was absolutely terrible. 1. First I got a notification that they sent the wrong parts and they would need me to send them back. These parts never arrived and it makes me wonder how organized a company can be if they're mysteriously losing parts. 2. The parts I did order were delayed in shipping and customer service never reached out. I had no shipment tracking number to use to figure out what the issue was and had to call and email 3D Hubs several times to get it. By the time I finally tracked it down, they had been returned to sender. 3. While I was battling 3D Hubs customer service to try to get those returns parts back, the other order was delayed with no explanation as well. I reached out via phone and email to multiple people and didn't hear back for 3+ days! Once I did I just received a vague apology but no offer to remedy it with a discount or refund. I'll never use them again. We were late to a project deadline because of them and it would have been one thing if it was clearly communicated but the staff clearly has no idea what they're doing.

Great service proposed by 3DHubs. The quotation system is the best and the delay is good. Got an issue with a part and they found a solution in less than a day. Love the service they propose and how you are treated. Go for it, you won't be disappointed.
