United Kingdom | 13 September 2013This is the second computer I have brought in about 8 months, as I need high spec machines for expanding my business. I can not fault the goods I receive, they are always high quality, reliable and look smart. The only slight issue I have is that it would of been nice to have been told if there was going to be any delay in shipping my computer to me. I do not mind there being a delay, these things happen, but both times I have phoned up to be told that my computer was being shipped that day, to have to phone up the next day to be told that there was another delay. I think if you advise customers of any delays, and be honest about it, then I think you would of got 5 stars. I would probably buy my next machine from them, but I hope I am given accurate information about delays. I do however like the email updates on what stage my computer is at, which I did not get with my first machine.

United Kingdom | 06 September 2013i bought a nice spec computer from Vibox online store in Ebay i paid nearly 400 pounds for the computer i am very happy with the price paid and the product the fan PSU ( power supply unit ) was quite noisy when i plugged it in from new , but i decided it wasnt a major concern so i accepted it as was. 4 months later, the computer wont boot.. i took it to a local computer shop, who tested and confirmed the power supply has failed completely. no problem i thought .. its under warranty .. WRONG ....... i phoned Vibox who advise me to return the computer to them, at my expense.. Vibox also said it must be returned in a special package that i must buy from them at 30 pounds.. to keep the computer safe.. i also must pay postage both ways at 19 pounds.. total cost was 49 pounds i asked value of new power supply.. they said 37 pounds....... i bought a new power supply from a local computer shop, fitted, for just 19 pounds which was better spec than the original according to the shop owner .. removed the broken power supply and placed in new box i reasoned that for the cost of postage i could get a spare power supply for future use ( as they obviously broke down occasionally !! ) post office wanted 5.65 pounds for, proof of postage 1st class or 8 pounds odd for registered i didnt think a broken power supply warranted registered so i opted for proof of postage 4 weeks later Vibox stated they never received the parcel .... i have filed a post office claim form the attitude of the telephone staff i dealt with at this Vibox company probably ranks as the worst i have ever come across ( that made me infuriatedely frustrated ) ... shocking customer service .. advising me to pay 49 pounds to get a 37 pound item if you want a cheap computer, they are good value if your new computer breaks after 3 months ,( where they include a free to base collection service ) it will cost you more than the original savings you made by buying from them where in Britain do you only effectively get a 3 month warranty on a BRAND NEW COMPUTER they will never get my money again i advise all my friends and family to beware when thinking about buying a computer from an online retailer such as Vibox short term savings COULD incur ongoing expensive costs i did tell them i would review the product and service wherever i could, so here is the first of many to come. In my opinion, for them to simply replace my faulty power supply unit, without effort on my part, they would have had my business probably for the next 30 odd years, and all the recomendations i would have made .. they have lost more than me and will continue to lose future business by this faulty product policy they have implemented Jeremy Smith aged 45

United Kingdom | 01 September 2013I am very pleased with my Vibox self build PC. Of course, there are a few bits I would have changed, like going for a better keyboard and mouse, but I'll cope for now. Then the free games, actually are downloads, and having downloaded one, I hit my download limit, so probably won't be downloading other games, it'll be cheaper to buy. Much on the plus side, the desktop is high quality build, having gone with a green predator case. So quiet running, compared to my 10 year aging PC. I would highly recommend Vibox and wares as a great PC company.

United Kingdom | 20 July 2013The shop and customisation are very user friendly. However while there is plenty of choice of components, there is a more limited choice of accessories, which deterred me from purchasing a monitor from Vibox. Having chosen the free delivery option my order arrived in about a week (I live in the UK). This was prompt and to my expectation, indeed it was far from the maximum delivery time stated on the site. The emails were informative and their frequency was reassuring. The parcel was well lined with protection and was delivered safely. I was very appreciative to have Windows pre-installed. Oh and thank you for installing Chrome!

United Kingdom | 18 June 2013They gave me accurate advice on my custom build. The order was delivered within 5 working days, and the build, test and dispatch process was updated at each step via email. Once the product arrived it worked straight out of the box with no problems at all. I was entitled to free games with the graphics card but there was no information about this in the box - I emailed a query and by the end of the day everything had been dealt with and the games were installed. Very happy with my purchase and from other reviews I am confident that if anything goes wrong then Vibox's support service will be as good as their sales service. Recommended.

United Kingdom | 18 June 2013Following a telephone call to the Company for some technical and sales advice, I placed my order. The PC was received in under 7 days and was fully to my satisfaction. Good to see in this day and age that customer service is still out there.

United Kingdom | 08 June 2013The main issue was with how the Zalman CNP S12X CPU Cooler was fitted, rather than pulling cold air from the front, and pushing hot air out at the back, it was fitted pulling already warm air from the PSU at the top, and pushing hot air out at the bottom, right up against the graphics card, which would likely cause it to overheat quicker, leading to it being throttled dropping performance drastically and for it's lifespan to shorten significantly. I don't see any reason or excuse for this, and I spent the initial couple of hours rectifying this. That would have been easier too, had the documentation for the Zalman CNP S12X CPU Cooler been in the box with everything; I had to take the thing apart removing the PSU and graphics card just to get to the tiny thumb screws to undo the thing, then using my own thermal compound, costing me even more, when refitting the thing. The original application of thermal compound was a mess and it was even on the motherboard. Besides that, I bought that case, because of the side fans and good air flow, now I obviously didn't realise how big the Zalman CNP S12X CPU Cooler was, and they had to remove the side fans to fit it in, that's fair enough. I would have expected a phone call, an email, just any attempt at contacting me to say "hey, this is too big, we can either take out the side fans, or fit a smaller CPU cooler/heat sink, which would you prefer?". Then the cables are an absolute mess and are rammed in, it looks like the may even be excess extensions where they aren't actually needed, there are even wires going along the back of the motherboard straight across where the CPU socket is, I feel there's a risk that the jackets may melt and wires may contact and short the motherboard. Due to my experience of the build, I have doubts over the quality of the over-clock but I've had no issues with that as of yet; though a few settings in the UEFI weren't ideal. I would however like to give my thanks to Sean from the forums, who was the only real good thing about the whole experience, his advice checked out every single time and without his customer service, I wouldn't have bought this from Vibox. Maybe he could've mentioned the size of the S12X but likely he didn't know off hand. It could've been a lot, lot worse I guess, I could've bought a mac. I would only recommend Vibox to somebody that could confidently build and configure a computer on their own and I would have happily waited a whole month so the time could be taken on doing a proper job and me be contacted when I should. -------------------- -------------------- -------------------- -------------------- Intel Core i7 3770K 4-Core Ivy Bridge CPU over-clocked @ 4.5GHz Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD3H Motherboard Geforce GTX 670 2GB Graphics Card 2 x 8GB Corsair Vengeance 1600MHz Gaming RAM 1TB (1000GB) Sata III Hard Drive 240GB Corsair Force GT Solid State Drive CIT White Vantage Gaming Case 24x DVD-RW Optical Drive Corsair Gamer Series GS700 80+ 700W PSU Zalman CNP S12X CPU Cooler Gigabyte 6150 Wired Optical Mouse & Keyboard Cost: £1,322.30
