Australia | 22 January 2025My last online order of 2 pairs of multifocals were not quite as good as the bifocals I already have. I'm not sure why by the short distance reading part of the glasses is partly blurry. Also, it was the first time I've ordered the thinner glass lenses. Whatever the reason, I was disappointed. I only use them when I dont have my bifocals or mono focals at hand. I wonder why they are not so good?

My order was altered immediately after my return email correcting my mistake. This good customer service, which saved me and Dresden a whole heap of pain

Australia | 23 November 2024I've been a customer of Dresden since it opened in Newtown since 2015. They had great service, great people and it was a nice local business. Unfortunately, I won't be going anymore. They made an item incorrectly, but instead of helping you, they argue with you, then ignore you. The focal point of the latest lenses were incorrectly positioned. In order to see clearly, the glasses need to sit on the end of my nose and head tilted downwards (which gives me a headache). They never contacted me nor acknowledged my request for an amended pair. I have wasted my money and bought glasses that are not correct. Regrettably, I will no longer be supporting this local business.

Australia | 22 March 2024Buying my fifth pair of glasses the optomerist experience was good, as all previous times, in a clean, tidy and well presented store (Rozelle). But, the lenses for the new pair had a yellow hue and though not heavy, is not crystal-clear as the previous lenses. This is apparently because of changing supplier from Hoya and was advised that this is how they’ll be in future. I nether want or like a yellow hue added to my vision, so a lost customer next year: this is unfortunate as the concept is very good, as has been my previous experiences. So, check your tolerance of a yellow hue, albeit not heavy.

United States | 23 August 2023The frames do not last. Purchased a pair of frames and progressive lenses July 17th 2023, it took 3 1/2 weeks to receive the glasses, I live in the US. They were great at first, but after a week of wearing them I noticed two cracks on opposite sides of the lenses. So I sent a photo and they sent me a replacement frame (frame only, no arms). It took four weeks to receive my replacement frame. They broke within 10 minutes. The frames are not durable. They will not last 10 years. I do not recommend Dresden frames.

He was very helpful and patient with me, as I have a hearing loss, but made sure I understood what he was saying. Richard also arranged to have my glasses shipped to me because of my prescription. Richard also adjusted my prescription sunglasses, I had for a couple of years, for free. I will recommend Richard and Dresden company to everyone. Keep up the amazing work Richard

United States | 17 March 2023Foreigner here. I ordered contacts and wanted to check in on the status of my order after a couple days. I looked up the time difference and contacts during business hours. I had to contact customer service multiple times in a row because no one was available after a lengthy wait in the chat. God bless them, but the person I spoke with didn’t really any knowledge of what to do when I wanted to cancel my order. I had to contact the email instead and through social media to finally get someone to respond. I made sure to only contact during Dresden’s business hours. I was also informed my refund would be shown on my bank account in 24 hours but that’s not realistically true. It’s been several days and no refund has shown up yet. Overall I was really disappointed with my experience.

Bouquets for Sume - truly the most informed and caring Optometrist I have ever met. Taught me more in 20 minutes that I had been taught in 20 years of eye dr visits. I cannot believe all those years not one previous optometrist has ever discussed my eye health, diet, etc. eg: eat fish for eye health! (Had fish last night because of you) And the wonderful Kristy. About to have a baby, you will be missed. You are a delight, remembering me from a year ago. Dresden is lucky to have you back when you return from maternity leave. Excited for my $100 note recycled glass frames. Dresden, you are the best!

I had numerous glasses that having worn all day in front of a computer would hurt my temples, nose, or worse, end up with a headache. Dresden glasses are so light, I am 110% addicted. No pain. The Blue light Lens in addition to their light Frames fixed all the problems. I adore all the colours one can choose, to bring out he eccentric side and add a splash of colour to a time where Zoom meetings are the norm. I’ve received so ma y compliments on my glasses. My goal is to own every colour reading glasses….AND you can mix and match the arms to a different colour rim. Thank you for shipping them to me anywhere. I can’t live without them!!! Arwenna
