The service isn’t cheap but is very good. Data was recovered from the crashed hard drive and returned to me in a very usable media configuration. The interaction with made this effort very easy. All I had to do was print a shipping label, get the drive packaged and delivered to a UPS store for shipping. The rest was done by them. The what happens next was very well explained, with continued progress reporting. I would definitely recommend them to others with similar issues. Thanks for a job well done!

United States | 11 April 2021Beware of any place that does not provide pricing up front. I don’t think this business is a scam, but they are scammers. After a conversation with one of their reps where he questioned me about what data I hoped to recover I sent them 4 drives. The level of communication and helpfulness dropped steeply once they had my drives. They never replied to emails and I had to chase them to get the results of their recovery efforts (they lost my number). In the end, the drive that had what the rep knew I was looking for was not the oldest drive I sent, not the largest, not the drive with the most files, but it was, just coincidentally, the most expensive to recover. Initially I said yes and gave my credit card info, but after reading the “no guarantees, no refunds” contract on which they had put an incorrect (and much higher) charge price, I decided not to sign, not to proceed with the recovery and asked for my drive to be returned. It has been nearly two weeks now and they have not responded, not returned my drive and not returned my money. So if you’re going to use them, just beware. And be vague. Don’t tell them what you’re looking for, because I do believe this company can do what they say they can do, but where they could choose to be honest and genuinely helpful, they choose to be greedy and to gouge.

United States | 09 April 2021After contacting several companies that told me the damage to my device was hopeless in recovering the data in i went online and contacted fields data recovery, they requested i send them my device to determine if any data could be recovered, The next day they told me they were successful in recovering "ALL" the data from my damaged device. I would recommend this company especially if you have a damage device that seems hopeless!

United States | 07 April 2021This company is LEGIT, see my story. Great people, FAST, got all my data back! That being said, if your looking at all the negative reviews and the BBB like I did, please read my story: I didn't do the research I usually do and just focused on the free return if I cant afford to get the data recovered. I received the label and sent it out, and the next day it was received and already worked on. Crazy fast! Thats where is gets interesting. I received the quote on fixing the drive. (WD passport 2 TB). Also that it was a rough quote ranging from the price I thought, to way more then I could afford. I told them I couldn't afford it and to send it back. Then I started to do my research. I found numerous bad reviews, BBB (which were resolved and gave me some hope) and scam claims for this company. I started to freak out. Im usually so good at researching for hours before i jump right in. I was so upset at myself. Cass was my agent. I was scared I just sent my drive to a scam company and ill never see it again if I dont pay the high rate quoted. All my kids baby pictures from birth on. I was ready to break down. Anyways, I called the agent Cass and just flat out asked him if he was legit, not that I could do anything about it anyways or that they'd really tell me the truth. The way he answered seemed genuinely honest. I had hope. Then I decided to pay the quote we agreed upon. I called my bank and they also told me that it was a company not in the US, and charging me from Britain. Cass assured me they are all over, an international company and that is the main branch for billing. (He had an American accent) Again, nothing much to do at this point, they had me by the you know what if I ever wanted to see my drive again. (this is how I felt, but was not the case in the end I realized that) So I ok'd the charge and he said I would receive my copy of recovered data in less the 2 weeks. I literally received the data back in probably 2 days! All my data was there and I also got a call from another agent who dealt with the shipping part of it. He asked me to confirm all my data was there and if i wanted my drive back. I said yes and yes! I got my drive back in another 2 days. I'm writing this long description to ease the mind of anyone who is right now in my position. I couldn't find anything in the reviews to completely ease my mind that I wasn't just screwed over. For the company and Cass I just want to say thank you so much for being thorough and true. To the person reading this thinking if they should use them or trust them I would tell you yes. They are expensive, but they will work with you pricing wise. I was quoted 1200, and paid 850. That was another thing I was worried about, why the great cut in price, sounded fishy. I still don't know why they quoted so high, but it worked out for me. In the end I would use this company again for sure. Pointers: Dont accept the first quote. Also, dont just assume they will email you or call you back right away. They are busy and it took a few tries to get them. Course, I am a very impatient person, so it might have just been me. You also do not have to sign the document they send right away that states if you do not get your data there is no refund. I refused to sign that until i knew I had my data, and they had absolutely NO problem with that, in fact suggested it. Cass did everything he could to make me feel more at ease. Great people, great company.

United States | 21 March 2021I'm giving a 5 star review because I possibly had the best experience anyone could've had. They were very professional and honest with me up front. I sent a busted external hard drive to them and though they couldn't tell me how much info could be retrieved, they did tell me that their guys have a great track record for recovery. Though it was quite pricey and seemed like a gamble, it was well worth it in the end because they were able to retrieve ALL of my data from my external hard drive. It had 10 years worth of pics of our kids. It had all the songs I've ever written. It had all of my art work and so much more. To me it was a wise investment because there was so much invaluable stuff on that drive. I know now to take better care of my drives keeping them out of arms reach of kiddos lol. Their response time in evaluating the hard drive was extremely fast. And the return of a thumb drive with my data was very speedy. Although all of the data was not able to be recovered due to damage on the drive, I did get 99%+ of the data I was hoping to recover. All of the employees I dealt with were very professional and helpful.

United States | 10 March 2021When first my laptop quit working, I took it to a local computer repair shop. They diagnosed it for a failed internal hard drive. Told me that they couldn’t recover the data off it so they sent it out to their next level data recovery service, who also failed to recover my data - said the hard drive itself wouldn’t power on, that my data couldn’t be recovered. Put the MacBook Air on a shelf and grieved in disbelief for lost journals, writings and pictures. Your ad offered hope for at least confirmation that the data was truly lost by offering a “no risk” diagnosis. Can’t even begin to relay to you how thrilled I was to received word that my data from my MacBookAir laptop’s internal hard drive had been successfully recovered. And, upon actually receiving the hard drive, I was further delighted to find the files I grieved over losing, intact and present. Success ! ! ! Thank you ! ! !

United States | 09 March 2021They were very helpful in receiving my order. Once they got my money they were not at all responsive. I paid for emergency diagnostic and I did not receive the phone call letting me know that the results were in. I had to call and ask. I requested report and I received 4 bullet points in email. I requested to send hard drive be returned to me FEDEX and it was not done. I had to pay extra for overnight and even though they received my payment I was not notified of tracking #. When I called it was still sitting in shipping department. Not at all happy with their services. The amount of money I paid I was very dissatisfied. Will not use them again.
