They were quick and efficient. I got a shipping label from the company the day after I put in my inquiry. Shipped it via UPS and got a call from them the next morning letting me know they received the hard drive and were going to analyze it that day. Next business day, I got a call that they would be able to retrieve my files and was provided a quote for the service along with a list of all the files that were on my hard drive. Seeing that list was what reassured me that it was legit. The price quoted was higher than I anticipated but I put a few feelers out and the price seemed the same across the board. I got a new hard drive with all of my data just two days after. All in all, the process took less than a week.

Company computer would not boot. Windows repair deleted everything on the hard drive. User was frantic as she lost years of work and did not have a backup. Called Fields Data Recovery and had enough confidence with the person I spoke with that I sent them the hard drive. Best decision I ever made as they recovered all the files we needed. Looking for a company to recover the data on my hard drive, many of which were irreplaceable work projects and family memories. It felt like a minefield of who to trust. Fields-data-recovery was amazingly good with checking in, keeping me informed of what was happening with a real person along the way. At first, I was unable to afford the price, but they were willing to come down almost 50% with more time to get it done. Everything is perfect and I'm very relieved to have it back.

Both the customer rep and service rep were kind and professional. The whole process went rather quickly (from time of shipment of my devices to return of extracted data and devices). All though it was not cheap, I got back what I was aiming for in the endeavor.

I have had to use this company twice now unfortunately. Once they were able to get my data back (dead hard-drive) another time they were not (more physical damage to spinning disk). Were fast and had a variety of price points for how fast I wanted my data back

My external drive crashed and I sent to Fields, it wasn’t cheap but they was able to SAVE ALL MY FILES. They did exactly as their website explained. I even got my new hard drive back super quick, with all my files on it. Great service!!!!!

That which was lost...has now been found. I cannot thank the team at Fields DATARECOVERY enough. I always preach the need for backup and backup of your backups. Though, I got relaxed with data that means the most to me. I had many years of family videos stored on an external hard drive. Since it was external...I did not worry about lightning strikes or a hard drive crash (though I have learned the hard way that the external ones can crash or malfunction too). I was beyond disappointed in myself for the seeming loss of that data. I took it to a national retail computer store. They were unsuccessful in their attempt to retrieve the information. Thankfully, a rep there suggested I check out a local recovery place. I discovered Fields DATARECOVERY online. They were able to retrieve it all and in short time.. And by "all"... I mean family vacations, birthdays, holidays and all the events I want to watch over and over again from now to my end days. It was worth every penny. If you think all is lost...it just might not be. I had a older external WD hard drive that crashed, I called up Fields data recovery, and they were able to diagnose and provide me a list of my files. Their service is quick, and they have great customer service.

Very professional & they keep you informed on their progress. They were able to retrieve data off my dead remote hard drive that my local computer shop couldn’t. I tried another data retrieval company in StL first but their drop off communication lacked. I even drove 45 minutes to drop off hard drive & this other company had moved to a different location. My only complaint is they are expensive but they charge nothing unless they can retrieve the data & you agree with their charges. They worked with me on a fair price.

I found the service provided by Fields Data Recovery to be excellent. I had damaged an external hard drive and was unable to retrieve any data from the device. Fields Data Recovery was able to recover everything I needed, which was a huge relief. I did end up paying slightly more than I would have liked.. but in spite of that, I would definitely be willing to return for future data recovery needs, if the need arises.

I was in need of some data recovery from a couple of hard drives that went down. These were very important pictures and memories that we had no where else. This is not an easy task to rebuild all of that data into actual files again from broken drives. they were excellent communicators and were timely with their work. No one wants to admit their drive problem is their fault... SO I know a guy who dropped his drive - twice in 60 days - and used Fields for recovery. Their service isn't inexpensive, but it is accurate, complete, and rather fast. I hereby proclaim I don't want to talk to them again, but if I drop another drive I will.

I am a wildlife photographer and I lost thousands of images when two external hard drives were erased as I was attempting to back up my data. Business Savers! I decided to send my external hard drive to Fields-data-recovery after being told by a local computer business that I lost everything. Being a photography business I couldn't accept loosing customers beautiful memories. I'm pleased with the data recovery. I've read some bad reviews here and I don't think they're being fair. Parts are difficult to get, especially during these times. As for making a decision to proceed, the company can't wait around with dozens of hard drives in their clean room(s).
