I recently experienced a theft attempt and my Hiploc Gold resisted the thief's cutter. It did damage the chain, however HipLoc sent me replacement parts without hesitation! Thank you again for your help!

I ran into a major problem with installation. The instructions call for a 15 mill masonry bit, but here in the US the closest thing is 14.4 or 15.6. If you choose the smaller bit you won't be able to fit the sleeves info the wall, and if you choose for larger bit the sleeves will not hold.

I wanted to change the code on my Z LOK-COMBO but didn't understand the instructions. So I emailed the company and quickly got a personal response from Amy Atherton who patiently explained how to do this correctly! Many thanks!

The Gold is a monster. I am really please with how strong it is. You don't notice the weight too much around your waist. It adds an extra dimension of freedom to riding as you can leave your bike places without worrying too much. I've also got a Hiplok Lite that I've had for years, that's never skipped a beat either. But I bought the Gold just for my own peace of mind. Both would be also useful to give a thief's noggin a floggin'.

Real good bit of kit if your out for a quick ride and need to leave your pride and joy for a few minutes

I recently bought a Z Lok Combo - For some reason, it didn't work after a couple of uses. I spoke to Charlotte in their customer services, who couldn't have been more helpful. 2 days later, I had an identical new lock that works perfectly and is great for the 5 minute lockups while I nip into a coffee shop etc. Very impressed with the level of customer service - Thanks Charlotte.

Bought soma accesoires (Z Lok Combo Twin Pack, Hiplock FLX) which were send in a simple paper bag without any protection. Unfortunately the bag came in open and one of the items was damaged. My complaint was not even answered. As I got no answer at my complaint by email, I started using the locks (order #38048). unfortunately your answer ist to late!

The best service ever, very personal and quick - talked to Milly she is amazingly helpful and efficient. Amazon send me the Hiplok without keys. I contacted Hiplok directly, purchased the same item, which was out of stock, but they managed to send me the same one, received 20% off and within 48 hrs it was delivered.

I've had my DC Lock for about five years and it is my preferred lock for ease of use, weight and portability. Last week, the key stuck in the lock, it would turn easily, but I couldn't take it out. I dropped an email (that was easy to find) to Hiplok Support on Wednesday evening, and received a reply at 09.04 on Thursday morning with a suggested fix. That didn't work so I emailed back around 11.00 and had a reply less than two hours later asking for a couple of photos of the problem, a proof of purchase and an address for sending the replacement! I sent the information at 13:33 today and received a reply 13 minutes later advising that my replacement was being despatched today and the tracking information would be sent as soon as it was available. Not only that, it was pointed out that the colour I had was discontinued, but I could remove the cover and was given instructions on how, so that I had a spare or replace the current colour. I really couldn't fault the service, this is as good as it gets, and easily justifies the 5* rating with a special mention for Charlotte for making it all happen.
