Had a chap called Chris visit our business to look over our requirements, left it all in his hands to sort our bins out, was done quickly with no fuss and for once we are getting the prices we agreed unlike my previous waste suppliers. Would highly recommend NWH

very happy with the service from NWH and Chris from the Glasgow office, very reliable and easy to arrange. we had a huge clear out last month and the guys were very helpful advising me on the best method to remove the waste, classy touches like brushing up after all was removed. we are in talks about setting up a schedule for their FEL service.

Once again, I find myself having to leave a review regarding this company for the same reasons as before. Extremely inconsistent uplifts. Our collection date should be every Thursday, however we have recently found ourselves going almost two weeks without an uplift. We are a small store and therefore do not have the storage capacity to hold waste for long. Our waste bags need to sit out on the shop floor for less than 24 hours usually before being collected, however when we have had waste building up for almost two weeks it becomes a total health hazard, and looks bad for our business. Once our bags have been used up with NWH, we will definitely be looking elsewhere for our waste to be removed. Lots of our time has been wasted chasing up the brokers who act on NWH's behalf, and the service still has not improved. We now find ourselves removing our own waste, which should not be happening. They have also lied to the broker's claiming that their staff had been in to collect our waste, when they clearly hadn't, as we can prove this from a quick look at our CCTV.

AVOID! IT IS THE MOST WORST WASTE COLLECTION COMPANY I HAVE EVER COME ACROSS WITH MY 20 YEARS OF BEING IN THE FAST FOOD CATERING SERVICE. SIGNED UP TO THEM ONLY 5 WEEKS AGO THROUGH CHEAPERWASTE.COM. WITH 2 UPLIFTS A WEEK, ITS BEEN NIGHTMARES AND PROBLEMS WITH THEM BEING YOUR WASTE COLLECTION SERVICE. WITHIN THIS 5 WEEKS THEY MANAGE TO MISSED NEARLY EVERY COLLECTIONS , TOTALLING MISSED 8 TIMES OUT OF THE 10 UPLIFTS IN TOTAL WITHIN THIS 5 WEEKS. NEEDS TO PHONE EVERY WEEK TO CHASE THEM FOR THE MISSED COLLECTIONS. PROMISED TO COME THE NEXT DUE DAY AND TOLD TO PLACE THE BACKLOG OF WASTE NEXT TO BIN, AGAIN THEY MISSED FURTHER 2 COLLECTIONS. AND THIS CAUSED COMPLAINTS FROM NEIGHBOURS DUE TO SMELL AND MAGGOTS CRAWLING ALONG THE STREET. ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH HAD TO COME OUT DUE TO THE SMELLS AND MAGGOTS CAUSED BY THIS COMPANY KEPT LETTING ME DOWN ON PROMISE DUE DAY COLLECTIONS. THE AMOUNT OF BACK LOG WAS SITTING I HAD TO EVEN ARRANGE A SITE CLEARANCE WITH THEM WHICH THEY EVENTUALLY DID COME OUT TO COLLECT AFTER 3 WEEKS. BUT STRAIGHT AFTER THAT SITE CLEARANCE, THEY MISSED THE VERY NEXT COLLECTION AGAIN. EVEN MY AGENT FROM CHEAPERWASTE.COM , THEM SELF HAVE GIVEN UP ON THEM AND ADVISE ME TO CHANGE SUPPLIER ON MY BEHALF. NOW STILL GOT A BIN FULL AND EXCESS BAGS OF WASTE WHICH I JUST DONT KNOW WHERE TO PLACE THEM, AS ONLY JUST LASTWEEK COMPLAINTS FROM ENVIROMENTAL HEALTH AND NEIGHBOURS WITH ALL THE BACKLOG SITTING ON STREET NEXT TO BIN. AND THE NEXT VISIT WILL BE MONDAY, ANOTHER 3 DAYS FROM NOW, BUT FROM MY EXPERIENCE WITH THEM , THERE ARE A GOOD CHANCE OF THEM MISSING THAT COLLECTION AS WELL! JUST NIGHTMARES WITH THIS COMPANY NWH. NEVER EVER WITH THIS COMPANY. Follow up 12/8/20: received customer service from agent Nicola after this posted review, Nicola was very polite and helpful after acknowledge of this matter, an another site clearance was quickly arranged for 10th July and checking up with you to update things, and the site clearance has been out as promised on day. Nicola also got their tradewaste team to call me on the same day to confirm with me my scheduled days of waste collections, But hopefully this will keep up in future as lost confident due to the past 6 weeks with continuously missing collections now and again. 18/8/20 Now i am facing with billing issues relating on this, received a bill for this coming month (Sept), noticed there was a EXCESS WEIGHT charged of £49.68, agent cheaperwaste had replied back to me with they can't do anything about it, as this was charged by NHW, saying this was due to no access to bin. I was getting alot of complaints from neighbours and even environmental health officers coming out, due to regularly missed collections at scheduled days, causing smells and maggots crawling along streets , I was the most worried person than anyone else, don't you think this the bin was not out for collection days? Apart from that i noticed they charged me extra for EXCESS WEIGHTS for backlogs due to missed collections, and also getting charged for every lift costing £17 per uplift which it had missed on numerous collections. After that backlogs was cleared on the 23/7/20, it missed another collection the week after it, causing another backlogs sitting, and this was related on the previous post, backlogs were cleared once again with help from Nicola, but i am not sure will this clearance be billed again for the next invoice as excess weights. Basically after signing up, problems after problems, and paying for waste collection service that is randomly freely a hit or a miss and worrying, and the worst part is, received a bill later on and noticed i was being charged for all of this.

Excellent Customer Service We have been with NWH for almost 3 years and receive great Customer Service. We also came through the Glasgow City Centre changes to refuse uplifts with no drama. Our Account Manager Michelle Hagen worked closely with us and listened to what our needs were, and basically delivered everything we asked. Michelle is an absolute pleasure to work with and is always there to help or answer our queries. The team who provide the uplifts are always there during our allotted time slot and provide a great service. Michelle you do an excellent job and because of this you make my job so much easier.

I have experienced fantastic service from NWH. Daniel Droudge has been excellent at communicating throughout. We have had great advice and information regarding on waste management. The collection process is excellent and flexible when required. Daniel set up a confidential waste system which was tailored to suit our business requirements. Daniel is always available for advice and information. All NWH staff are all very professional and polite.

We have been using NWH for our skips for a couple of years now and had no issues whatsoever. Daniel has been a great help and skips are often delivered/collected at very short notice which is great for us. We will continue to use NWH and Daniel for the foreseeable future and can highly recommend. Keep up the good work Daniel :-)
