We use NWH for a complete waste management solution. Our account manager is always available and the back office staff are very responsive. Brilliant service from Paul one of their driver's this week. Paul went above and beyond to ensure the skip exchange went ahead. Thanks NWH

We approached NWH for temporary waste management services during the 2019 Edinburgh Fringe and everything ran like clockwork. From the initial sales' meetings, to the delivery of bins and daily uplifts, everything happened as scheduled. I wouldn't hesitate to use NWH for future events, or recommend them to others,

With pending changes in Glasgow to the way that Glasgow City Council allowed trade waste to be stored and collected, NWH approached my business blustering that they were the only waste company in Glasgow that were ready for this change, and gave such a great sales pitch that I was convinced to move my business after many years to them. After a great sales pitch it was incredibly disappointing that they were unable to deliver all that was promised. Given that the council now allows business to put out waste for a one hour window, NWH stated they were the only ones who would be able to keep up with these changes, and as they dealt with so many other businesses in the area they could easily uplift our trade waste in line with new council regulations. To begin with, were were asked to give times which suited our business. Great, but it didn't work out at uplifts never happened at the times agreed. So i threw this back to NWH and told them to give me times that works for their routes and I would ensure our team put out waste for the hour window that worked for them. Again, this never worked and often left to us sitting with waste for days until another uplift could be arranged. It got to the point where they told my business they would call 10 minutes in advance to give us notice to put out bins, which is far from ideal running a busy hotel to take team members away from duties at short notice to drag heavy bins (glass, food, recycling and general waste) outside for collection. Again, this failed as drivers would call once at 10 minutes away and if there was no answer (due to busy lines) they would simply turn up to the business, take a picture of the bins locked away and drive off leaving our business to try and arrange another uplift. Whilst I understand that changes made by the council have brought about challenges for all businesses and those dealing with trade waste, NWH should never have walked through our door stating they were the only ones ready, when clearly, from the experience we've had, they were not. A complete loss of trust in this company and will never use them again for any business.

We as a business, keep our general waste output to a minimum but that said, we have a necessary requirement for a reliable waste service provider. We use NWH Glasgow for there FEL trade waste service and have done since 2017. Prompt service with no hassle.

As a contractor in Edinburgh I have used NWH to provide various services whilst working in the City. They have provided a very efficient service to date. They have been particularly helpful when I have changed plans at relatively short notice, maintaining a positive and proactive approach.

I have been with this company for 3 months now and so far very very happy. The training I have received has been great and the management and staff are very friendly. I have worked with different companies whether it be full time or agency work and this is by far the best. I am experienced in curtain siders, frozen, chilled, ambient, flat bed, full sized rigid and chemicals and this job is really enjoyable with some very challenging task changing on a daily basis. You have also got the opportunity to progress in your career with more training available if you are willing to learn. I have never done tipper work before and at 1st can be quite daunting but with the training that I received was second to none and now I am a very very confident tipper driver who is looking to progress with the opportunities that are available to me, also if your ever have a problem the other drivers are also there to help you. I have met many good friends from the time I have spent here and looking forward to meeting many more. I would strongly recommend The NWH group to anybody.

My dealings with NWH are during the preconstruction phase. I have always found them to be accommodating. There have never been any issues in returning quotes (even when my timescales to a lot of people would be unrealistic) On the occasions where I have phoned for advice (usually this call is to Craig Bertram) he is always happy to help.

I'm happy, don't have any issues, just come to work and do what needs done. Grass isn't always greener somewhere else and if you look hard enough you'll be able to pick faults regardless. The job isn't for everyone, but it is for me. You get recognised for long service, some make it to 5 years and others don't make it past 5 days but that's a personal choice. The company appears to have a vision for the future by expanding and taking onboard technology. The bonus system is more fairer now than before as it's not automatic for just turning up. Management are management, there are good and not so good, you hear some negative comments from some drivers but personally I've never experienced it. Everybody that I've had dealings with are spot on, so can't fault them. Trucks are generally well maintained with a few relics that still make it back on the road but they do the job, just wish the radios worked and not constantly blowing hot air. Will I still be there in 5 years? Can't see any reason why not......

Very good company, really professional, owners striving to improve and grow the company while operating with integrity. Same applies to Newcastle branch, same ethics in place. Vehicles well maintained and all of a high standard. Bonus scheme - Fair and actually makes sense. Pay - Above average for area and sector. Working conditions - Excellent.
