Germany | 23 January 2019Achtung Betrüger.. Wir können uns ebenfalls dazugesellen, Hotelzimmer ordnungsgemäß gebucht und mit Kreditkarte bezahlt. Vor Ort wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass das Zimmer storniert wurde von Gala. Wir haben dann das Zimmer vor Ort nochmals bezahlen müssen. Betrug mit Unterstützung der Hotelketten die damit arbeiten....

Italy | 23 January 2019Ho prenota due camere a Pisa una doppia ed una tripla per 265€ per il 18 e 19/01/2019 ; giunto in albergo ho trovato la sorpresa, non esisteva la mia prenotazione. Abbiamo scoperto con l'albergatore che la mia prenotazione Galahotels l'aveva disdetto il 20/12/2018 due giorni dopo il pagamento.Mi è costato pagare altri 270 € per risolvere il problema.Inutile provare a contare questi delinquenti , telefoni inesistenti o fuori posto. Il bello è che mi sono rivolto alla Polizia Postale e il funzionario mi hanno liquidato dicendomi che si non si può fare nulla e nemmeno bloccare il sito. Viva i truffaldini !!!!

I soldi li hanno presi subito anche se le prenotazione era libera fino ai primi di febbraio, a questo punto però vorrei sapere se esiste una procedura per riavere i soldi o se sono persi per sempre.

United Kingdom | 22 January 2019galahotels.com IS A SCAM! I booked a week's hotel accommodation with then for the Westgate Lakes Resort in Orlando (Jan 6-13, 2019). The cost was £388.00 for the room only. They took my money, confirmed the booking and around 2 weeks prior to my departure cancelled the booking with the hotel (without my consent or knowledge). NONE of the telephone numbers I tried connected with ANYONE! All my emails generate ZERO response from them. In case I wasn't clear: GALAHOTELS.COM IS A SCAM - DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!

We paid for 2 hotel rooms and as we came to the hotel we were said the reservations made 2 months ago were cancelled 2 days before our arrival. Wer tried to call every single telephone number! None of all the phone numbers answered! We wrote 6 e-mails! we wrote e-mails every week within a month! Nobody answered... Galahotels stole 870 euro from us, because we has to pay for the hotel twice! galahotels.com is a scam! Do not use the page!!!

Australia | 22 January 2019Booked 2 rooms at a hotel in Adelaide from April 7-11 2019.The booking date was Dec 7.We cancelled on the Dec 17.The cancellation confirmation said the FULL amount would be credited within 21 days. So far no refund and no response to 2 emails sent 7-10 days ago. They also don't tell you that you are subject to a international transaction fee when you book.Currently out of pocket $1500. My credit card provider is investigating,and hopefully they will provide a refund. Wish I had have looked at the appalling list of complaints against this company before .

Malta | 22 January 2019was scamed as well booked hotel for my family and they cancelled without any notice just find it out when arrived to hotel luckily found place for my family where to sleep tried to call all the numbers any of them doesnt exist sent emails no reply woll need to ask bank for chargeback and involve police this company registered in cyprus/turkey

United Kingdom | 21 January 2019I booked a hotel with Gala Holidays but had to cancel 4 days after I'd booked due to health problems and not being able to fly. The T&C clearly stated the amount over £300 was refundable. My cancellation was accepted and email confirmation was received, also was phoned asking why I cancelled. Its now nearly 8 weeks afterwards and I still have not received my refund. I've tried phoning a few times only to get message 'this call cannot be taken, try again' and line goes dead. I've emailed too and did receive an email yesterday saying 'my case has been received'! I do not understand why there is a 'case' surely a straightforward reply and refund would be in order. I would not book with the company again and would not recommend anyone else making a reservation with them.

In the process of trying to claim back money,I never do reviews but this time feel so strongly that I don't want anyone else to get ripped off, do not book through gala hotels they will take your money and cancel your reservation!

Netherlands | 21 January 2019DO NOT MAKE A RESERVATION VIA GALAHOTELS! Via Galahotels.com I made a reservation for a hotel in Amsterdam. The amount was charged on my creditcard. When we arrived at the hotel last weekend, it seemed that the hotel had cancelled our room because Galahotels.com / Leonardo Travel had not paid the amount to the hotel! There was no availability at the hotel anymore, so we left again. The hotel showed us a letter. It was not only our reservation that had been cancelled, but 8 other reservations as well for the months December - March (from 2 - 6 nights per reservation). GalaHotels.com never informed us about the cancellation and the status of the booking in the account was still on 'confirmed'. At home I read more reviews about GalaHotels.com. It seems that they sometimes deliver their services in a correct way, but that they also act like this: You make a reservation by creditcard. GalaHotels.com receives your money. Then they do not pay the hotel, but keep your paid amount, and the hotel cancels your room because it is not paid by GalaHotels.com. GalaHotels.com should inform you about the cancellation, but they don't do that. So when you arrive at the hotel, you get an unpleasant surprise. I sent a complaint to GalaHotels.com for a refund, but after reading the other complaint I don't think they will give a reaction. My creditcard complany is now sorting out things.

I rang to get a refund and the lady said I would receive it back in 3 days I’m still waiting for a £210 refund after a month and a half, of which I haven’t had any luck with getting back! DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY! Website should be shut down! My credit card company are now trying to handle it!

Morocco | 19 January 2019Prenotato un soggiorno dal 16 al 20 gennaio 2019 presso il riad Ain a Marrakech.Ci inviano prenotazione e transfert. Arriviamo in aeroporto niente transfert. Prendiamo taxi a mezzanotte e ci rechiamo al riad. Qui ci dicono che non c’è alcuna prenotazione e riad al completo. Panico assoluto data l’ora riusciamo a trovare grazie ad amici calere al Semiramis. Il 14 avevano inviato mail al riad x comunicare l’arrivo in tarda serata ma in quella data il riad non ci ha neanche risposto che non esisteva prenotazione. Purtroppo ci è costato il doppio. Bruttissima esperienza.. Giovanni

Denmark | 19 January 2019ADVARSEL Jeg har brugt tid på at læse andres meget dårlige erfarninger med Galahotels.com Derfor lad være med at benytte deres site,du mister dine penge og kommer til at betale en gang til hvis du ellers er så heldig at det hotel dutroede du skulle holde ferie på har ledige værelser.Galahotels trækker pengene i det øjeblik duhar booket,hvorefter de sender besked tilhotellet omat ordren erannuleret,deneneste der IKKE ved noget om den annullering dig.Bedrageri af værste skuffe.Jeg har lige måtte betale endnu en gang for et næsten2 måneders langt ophold booket og betalt i juni 2018. Jeg var dog heldig at hotellet have et værelse ledigt til mig,men ikke alle er så heldige.

Italy | 18 January 2019sembra che abbia chiuso e nonostante tutto incredibilmente ancora accetta prenotazioni!!! 2 camere presso Preluna Hotel a Sliema, Malla, transfert compreso, arrivati all'aeroporto venerdi 11 gennaio 2019 alle ore 23...transfert cancellato... ripaghiamo il transfert e all'arrivo in hotel... anche le camere cancellate!!! fortunatamente John il portiere notturno del preluna ci ha dato ugualmente 2 camere che abbiamo pagato il giorno successivo... quindi abbiamo pagato anche le camere 2 volte...chiami galahotel non risponde piu' nessuno..spariti..hotelsbed ha cancellato tutte le loro prenotazioni e nonostante tutto ilsito è attivo e rilascia prenotazioni CHE NON ESISTONO..possibile che nessuno li blocchi??

France | 17 January 2019Escrocs, à fuir ! Réservation payée, le jour J à l’hôtel on nous explique que la réservation à été annulé par galahotels il y a 1 semaine. Résultat pas d’hébergement, galahotels injoignable. Nous avons été obligé de repayer l’hébergement et depuis nous sommes en litige avec eux mais entreprise fantôme, très peu d'espoir de récupérer notre argent...
