Don't use Gala Hotel system for booking. I booked an Hotel with immediately payment. After few minutes my reservation was cancelled automatically. I never received refund and the never answered to mu complains!

Auch wir sind Opfer von Galahotels. Das Alex Hotel in Dublin vom 10.1.-13.1.19 gebucht. Das Hotel teilt mit, dass die Reservierung von Expedia storniert worden sei. Auf der Galahotel webseite steht sie auf aktiv. Außerdem geschäftlich 3 weitere Hotelbuchungen vorgenommen. Alle stehen auf aktive, die Hotels wissen von nichts. Ans Telefon geht natürlich niemand. Kann man diesen Betrügern nicht das Handwerk legen ?

The same thing happened to me I had used them before and it was ok. I booked two rooms for London in August and paid them full. The reservation was for January 2019. When I sent an email to the hotel to inform them that I was arriving late, they told me that the had no such reservation and that it was cancelled on 3/1/2019 due to lack of payment from the agent and also they said that they do not deal with either Galahotels or Leonardo which is a sister company. I have called the police but they said unfortunately they cannot do anything. I am hoping to get a refund through my bank.

FRAUDE! NÃO FAÇAM RESERVA VIA GALA HOTELS Fiz uma reserva para o Hotel Milano Ambasciatori no dia 16/11/18 para check in no dia 24/12/18. Chegando no hotel fui informado pela atendente que minha reserva tinha sido cancelada no dia 19/12/18 e que o hotel não tinha recebido nenhum pagamento sobre minha reserva. A atendente tentou entrar em contato com o Gala Hotels e não foi possível o contato. Me vi em uma situação desesperadora por estar em uma cidade onde não falo o idioma na véspera de natal sem ter onde dormir. Tive que pagar a hospedagem a preço de balcão. Ja tentei diversas vezes o contato com o Gala Hotels que foram em vão. Agora tomei medidas nas autoridades, ja realizei queixa de burla !!

Hope galahotels scum bags burn in hell! How can anyone be so cruel stealing decent people’s hard earned money. The upset on arriving to a cancelled booking is indescribable. Our only hope Is to get the original booking costs back from our bank but that won’t cover the additional cost of the more expensive replacement room. A total scam!!! I have used GalaHotels site before and i was quite satisfied!!! In December i made a booking at a hotel in paphos though GalaHotels site. My card was fully charged but the booking was never confirmed and it presented as canceled!!! I tried to called them at all of the numbers they had at their site with no answer at all!!! All the numbers were unavailable!!! I sent several emails and openes cases at their site!!!Again no response!!! Hopefully, my bank will reimburse the money but the site must be shut down!!! Is unacceptable to still be up and running and continue to deceive people!!! STAY AWAY FROM GALA HOTELS SITE by all means!!!

Arnaque ! Ils ont annulé ma réservation 2 semaines avant les dates prévus et aucun remboursement n'a été fait. J'ai contacté ma compagnie de carte de crédit pour me faire rembourser et les amener en justice.

Gala Hotels is a pure SCAM of a company. Booked a hotel in Cuba (Starfish Cayo Santa Maria) and on arrival were told that there was no reservation as it had been cancelled. A $12 phone call later, we could not determine why the reservation was cancelled and had to book a new room at full cost. Reading over the reviews - this company is despicable, ruining countless holidays. Please avoid!!

Hi all, Being a recent victim of GalaHotels and reading similar reviews to mine is there anything we can do to get proper authorities on to these people? My bank have refunded me my money but is still under investigation but I do not want to leave it at this? Any advice?

Escroquerie et arnaque. J'ai réussi à les avoir une seule fois par tel et ils ont accepté de me rembourser 2 nuits dans un hotel qui n'ont pas été effectuées. Résultat: personne ne répond à aucun des no. de tel, 2 mois que j'attends d'être remboursée et les plaintes que j'envoie sur leur site n'ont qu'un écho: en cours et nous vous préviendrons lorsque votre demande aura été traitée, alors qu'il y a près de 2 mois, on m'avait confirmé que le remboursement se ferait effectivement sous 7 à 10 jours ouvrés. Site à éviter absolument, l'arnaque absolue.

We had also troubles with our rooms. We paid and when I arrived at the hotel our booking was 'cancelled' and luckily there were on Christmasday 2 rooms available and we had to pay again. I tried to put a complaint on their site after login but every time I raise a case the site denies it and says Oops we are sorry. All the telephone number, even the emergency number did not answer or were not applicable anymore!! They do not react on chatts or sms! Claiming now fraud on my creditcard through the bank. they are going to refund the money for us. So NEVER book with GALAHOTELS!! They are just thieves of your money! Someone should block this site!

Non userò mai più Gala Hotel, sono solo dei ladri truffatori. Nel mese di dicembre ho fatto una prenotazione con Gala Hotel (fortunatamente per sole due notti) dal 4 al 6 gennaio a Bologna, ho pagato l'intero importo e ho ricevuto da Gala Hotel l'e-mail di conferma dell'avvenuta prenotazione e relativo pagamento. Ma quando arrivo all'hotel giorno 4 gennaio, mi viene detto dalla reception che la prenotazione giorno 1 gennaio era stata annullata da una fantomatica agenzia che si è poi scoperto che ha dichiarato fallimento proprio il giorno dopo della richiesta di annullamento della prenotazione. L'assurdo è che nessuna richiesta di annullamento è mai stata fatta da me e nessuna e-mail di annullamento è mai a me pervenuta. Per poter pernottare ho dovuto pagare per intero il costo della camera perché Gala Hotel si è trattenuto i miei soldi e non li ha mai versati all'albergo. Una vera e propria truffa. Dovrebbero chiudere il sito Gala Hotel perché rubano solo i soldi alla gente. Ho scoperto infatti che non sono stata l'unico caso ma ce ne sono stati molti altri tutti con le stesse modalità. NON USATE GALA HOTELS.

The worst company ever. Don't by all means deal with galahotels. They really are a total scam!!!!!!! They took my money and canceled my reservation two weeks before I showed up to my hotel. Didn't find out until I got there and was told that my reservation had been canceled by these crooks. I also had to report them to my credit card fraud department because no one would talk or respond to me. Just a bunch of crooks

I have been affected by the same issue, paid and when I arrived at the hotel our booking was 'cancelled' and had to pay again. I have a case number but no update since the 31/12/2018 when I raised the case. Found an employee on LinkedIn, he said he couldn't help but gave me another colleague's contact detailed who reads and ignores all my messages. Claiming fraud through the bank but not holding out much hope i'll ever see the money again.

Don't use a company called "Gala Hotels" to book your discounted hotel rooms.I booked and paid in advance for a room for two dates at Birmingham airport and neither were reserved. I had to pay again and to date, after 30 emails, they have still not replied or contacted me. Pass this on to all of your contacts on email and face book and hopefully these scam artists won't have an opportunity to rip anyone else off

Fraudulent Provider - The money I paid GalaHotels for the hotel booking never got to the hotel, resulting in a cancellation. I found out only upon arrival that the reservation was cancelled and when I tried reaching out to GalaHotels to get a refund the phone numbers listed were disconnected and no one responded to any of my emails. Do not book with Gala Hotels.

Vi sconsiglio vivamente di prenotare qualsiasi hotel tramite il sito di GalaHotels. Riporto la mia esperienza: ho prenotato tramite loro due diversi hotel in Grecia, mi hanno subito addebitato il costo delle prenotazioni sulla carta di credito e hanno inviato i due voucher di avvenuta prenotazione. Però all’arrivo nel primo hotel mi è stato detto dal manager alla reception che la mia prenotazione è stata cancellata pochi giorni prima e poi lo stesso è accaduto con il secondo hotel. Inutile dire che ho dovuto cercare e pagare le altre sistemazioni. Dopo le ricerche in internet ho visto che è il solito modus operandi di GalaHotels: prenotare inviandoti il voucher con il rispettivo numero per metterti tranquillo e guadagnare il tempo se nel frattempo vuoi fare le verifiche e poi pochi gg prima del soggiorno effettivo cancellare la prenotazione. Nessun numero europeo di GalaHotel risulta raggiungibile, al massimo risponde la segreteria telefonica, provare se avete ancora qualche dubbio per credere, persino il numero d’emergenza che è presente sul voucher di prenotazione è irraggiungibile. Alle mail rispondono solo con le risposte standard fatte al computer dicendo che stanno ancora tentando di risolvere il problema, gli accrediti non vi arriveranno mai. In due parole sono dei TRUFFATORI. Le pagine internet in inglese sono piene delle descrizioni delle loro truffe. Mi sorprende che riescono ad essere ancora operativi dopo aver accumulato così tante recensioni pessime.

SCAM total SCAM!! I cancelled my reservation after they changed the location of the accommodation unilaterally. Still, one month later I haven't received the money back.

In sito è tutta una truffa...Abbiamo prenotato un viaggio a Varadero ma una volta arrivati là l' hotel ci ha detto che la nostra prenotazione era stata cancellata da Gala hotels. Ovviamente avevamo già pagato, GalaHotels già si era intascata i soldi ma ha cancellato di sua iniziativa tutto senza restituirci l' importo. Abbiamo provato a contattarli in mille modi ma non ci hanno mai risposto. I numeri dell' assistenza sono tutti scollegati..è una frode
