After a lot of bad reports, I was very afraid about my refunds: 2000 euros for 2 cancelled reservations! So I was very surprised to find on my bank account my money back in 5 DAYS! I'm very sorry for the other clients. Perhaps I was lucky because I found a great assistant by email for my refund request. Thank you GALA HOTELS for your serius service. ================== Dopo aver letto un infinito numero di pessime recensioni ero davvero preoccupata per la mia richiesta di rimborso di 2000 euro per 2 prenotazioni cancellate. Ma... Mi sono quasi stupita quando ho trovato il mio denaro restituito in 5 GIORNI! Forse ho trovato un bravo addetto via e-mail che ha proceduto con molta serietà. Sono dispiaciuta per gli altri clienti, ma io non posso che ringraziare l'agenzia che con me si è comportata molto onestamente.

Gala hotel mi ha rubato più di 600€ per tre prenotazioni. Avevo prenotazioni cancellabili, mi hanno addebitato subito i costi e dopo aver cancellato le prenotazioni i rimborsi non sono mai arrivati. Alle mie sollecitazioni via e-mail hanno risposto in un primo momento che avrebbero provveduto con la banca ad effetture il rimborso e in un secondo momento si sono inventati che avevo cancellato la camera troppo tardi!! Cosa non vera, ed io ho le prove avendo fatto dei screenshot al momento delle prenotazioni e cancellazioni. Denuncerò Gala Hotel e passerò avie legali

Ich habe ein Hotelzimmer in Bilbao gebucht für 2 Tage. Der Betrag wurde meiner Kreditkarte belastet und 5min später kam auch die Bestätigung der Buchung. Während der Fahrt nach Bilbao (30min nach der Buchung) kam die Stornierungsbestätigung durch Galahotels -ohne Angabe eines Grundes! Im Hotel gab es dementsprechend keine Reservierung und wir mussten teurer vor Ort buchen. Das schlimmste ist allerdings: die Belastung meiner Kreditkarte wurde noch nicht korrigiert!! Kein Antwort auf Anrufe (5x) oder E-Mails Bin jetzt in Kontakt mit meiner Bank, ggf. Strafanzeige. Fazit: Fakeseite - bloß nicht buchen!!!

My husband had unexpected back surgery which required we cancel our vacation, i.e. hotel through Gala hotels. We thought we had booked directly through the hotel but instead we booked through a THIRD party. While they do state partial refund after X date, I am unable to understand this policy holding under such serious circumstances as BACK SURGERY. I found a Gala Hotels contact email through a google search and emailed my husbands surgery papers with no reply. I was later told through their websites customer service message system to send it to a personal address they gave me. It has been three weeks and this individual will go for days before answering any of my emails, they're hide behind a FOURTH party who they say handles such matters and I'm still waiting for them to answer my latest email. The phone numbers listed on Gala Hotels website must be a front as you're sent through an infinite loop or it disconnects you. This company takes your money and runs, they simply won't engage.

Comme beaucoup, ils ont encaissé l'argent et ne m'ont jamais remboursé. Le numéro de téléphone est juste fait pour endormir le client car il est impossible de joindre une personne. Réponse automatique aux emails (comme celle sur trustpilot). Like many, they cashed the money and never refunded me. The phone number is just made to lull the customer because it is impossible to reach a person. Automatic reply to emails (like the one on trustpilot).

DO NOT BOOK WITH GALA HOLIDAYS THEY ARE A 'SCAM' SET UP!!!! 1.THEY PRETEND TO BOOK YOUR HOTEL 2.THEN TAKE YOUR MONEY 3.THEN CANCEL YOU OR PRETEND TO RELOCATE YOU 4.THEN DON'T REFUND YOUR MONEY BACK 5. Jeg bookede 3 overnatninger, efter at have set et tilbud på Riskov bilrejser. Jeg afbestilte min tur til Berlin for over en måned siden. Efter at have ventet de 21 business days, vil galahotels stadig ikke svare mig på hvornår jeg får mine penge tilbage. De hævder at den er gal med deres bank, men efter at have læst deres anmeldelser, er jeg ikke sikker på at jeg får dem tilbage. Det var formentligt 1650 kr ud af vinduet... Jeg vil ikke anbefale dem til nogen.

Bad service. I booked hotel, they charged from me money for it and after they canceled my booking, and promised to pay back my money. It was in 15.august - till now I didn't receive money and there is no hope to get it back. Phone is all time busy and I can't reach somebody to talk. Email is not responding. I will newer again use galahotels.com and I am not recommending to You as well. If may message is not enough, read many more below.

I’m not sure why GalaHomes is receiving bad reviews. My experience was a very smooth process by booking Four seasons hotel in Marrakech online and providing best possible price compared to other travel agents. Hotel was fantastic, one of the best that I have stayed in - will book again with galahomes in the future!

J’avais une réservation pour un hôtel à Cuba avec Gala Hôtel il n’ont pas envoyé la réservation et il ont encaissé l’argent j’ai du tout payer mes frais maintenant impossible de les rejoindre N’UTILISEZ PAS CE SITE DE RÉSERVATION DONT USE GALA HÔTEL HE KEEP YOUR MONEY GALA HÔTEL DONT SEND YOUR RESERVATION YOU NEED TO PAID EVERYTHING $$$$$

UPDATE 8th Sept We are just finishing up our stay at the lovely Mandarin Orchard. Gala Hotels came through with flying colors. Check in was a breeze. The hotel even upgraded our rooms. Thank you, Gala Hotels! UPDATE 2nd Sept I received my confirmation email August 31. Thank you! I will post another update after our stay. Hello- I am posting this review, because it seems that Gala Hotels responds quickly here. At the moment, my review is 5 stars because I am very hopeful that they will answer my question! I sent the message below via email. Could you please ensure that I get a response ASAP? Kind regards, Bill Hello- I booked two rooms for two nights at the Singapore Orchard Hotel for September 6th and 7th for my family of 5 through Gala Hotels. I have received my booking number (#21732810) and confirmation via your website, but I have not received anything via email. I contacted the Singapore Orchard Hotel directly, and they have no record of our reservation. Could you: 1) Confirm that we indeed have two rooms for those two nights? 2) If necessary, change the email address on our account from XXX@XXX .XXX to XXX@XXX .XXX so that we are receiving emails from Gala Hotels? Buenas, soy víctima de otra estafa hace 9 días realice una reserva en hotel andalussia de Conil de la frontera a través de esta cadena Gala Hotels por llamarla de alguna forma. Al día siguiente nos mandan un correo de confirmación de reserva y posteriormente nos envían a otro hotel que ni habíamos contratado en Chiclana sin tener conocimiento de ello. Nada más conocer la noticia de que nos derivaban a otro hotel el cual no habíamos contratado llamamos para que nos hicieran el reembolso y a día de hoy continuamos sin recibir nada y solo correos que nos dan largas y amplían el periodo de devolucion. Cansado de esta situación y decepcionado completamente procederemos a realizar la denuncia pertinente, nunca contraten por aquí es una gran estafa acabemos con esto.

Firstly their customer support is non existent.The phone number they give is not reachable at all. It keeps on hanging up saying the voicemail for the number is not set up if you want to talk to customer representative. On August 25th I wanted to book a hotel room, I saw one listing on TripAdvisor and went on to make a booking which took me through Galahotels.com. After I booked I got to know that it booked me for Sept 3rd. I tried calling the hotel to know if I could swap by booking for August 25th. But they couldn't see my reservation as Galahotels(their third party) haven't still given it to them. So, they suggested me to talk to Galahotels. Now comes the worst part of my experience. I have been trying to call their US customer support number multiple times since almost a week now without any luck. I even tried emailing them to their info email. But no luck with that as well. I don't know if I would be able to contact them at all. I really want my refund and I would suggest everyone to stay away from this company which sounds like a pseudo-scam.

Customer service non existent. Room booked was non refundable £589 so not cheap. Understood it as the time of booking to be a twin room but found that it is a double, so it’s a good job me and my friend are on good terms! Expected to pay that much and have my own bed! Booking said free airport transfers but apparently not from my airport! Tried calling numerous occasions and no one to pick up at other end. Complained about customer service and never received a response, opened another complaint about previous complaint on 4 August still never heard anything and it’s now 30 August! Luckily the hotel are very helpful and thankfully confirmed a booking but if I do not want to share a bed with my friend I will have to pay extra for an upgrade if indeed possible and if there is availability, I’ve also got to now pay out for airport transfers. Customer service is dire and non existent. Book with this company at your peril. You have been warned!

I am still awaiting my refund from June 5th from galahotels. I have sent 11 messages regarding this and just got generic responses from a computer. The same sort of generic responses received from this website. Why can a person with a name not respond. It's just useless. This company should not be able to trade. I'm contacting my credit card company at this stage. Imagine the cheek of them replying to with no mention of where my refund is and thanking me for choosing them as my favourite travel portal!!!!! As if I would ever choose them again!!!!

Do your research!!!!! In the middle of trying to get my money back and the website won't even let file a complaint, won't let me request my money back so I reported them to my bank. My bank will cover my expenses to this website but I really wish I had read the reviews before booking. This company should be ashamed of themselves.
