Spain | 17 August 2018El dia 4 de Agosto hice un pago de reserva en un hotel de Lagos (Portugal), Justo después GalaHotels me envia un correo solicitandome datos de DNI y Tarjeta Bancaria, a lo cual me negué. El dia 5 de Agosto me contestan por email que en el plazo de 2-3 dias me devolveran, gratuitamente, el importe cobrado. Hoy, dia 17 de Agosto, siguen sin devolverme el dinero. Apuntar que a GalaHotels me redireccionó la web de tripadvisor. La contestacion que esta empresa da, el dia 17 de Agosto, es totalmente falsa, le echan la culpa al Hotel, cuando son ellos los que lo hicieron mal. Hoy dia 1/11/2018 siguen sin devolverme el dinero, aunque este tema ya esta en el Juzgado.

Australia | 17 August 2018They've stolen my money. Its been weeks now since they issued thier 'refund' to my account, they don't respond to my emails, nothing. These thieves are located in 'ISTANBUL' yet pose as an english nationality website. DO NOT GO WITH THESE GUYS IF YOU DONT WANT THEM TO STEAL YOUR MONEY AND RIP YOU OFF. Currently im $550 in the hole for accommodation they couldn't supply and have no intention of returning.

Germany | 16 August 2018bei meiner Buchung über GALAHotels wählte ich die teurere Variante der kostenfreien Stornierung. Zu meinem Erstaunen, als ich die Buchung bzw. den Hinweis kontrollierte, bekam ich die Nachricht, dass diese Stornierung kostenpflichtig sei und mit 167€ bezahlt werden müsse. Da ich diese Möglichkeit der kostenfreien Stornierung für den Fall eines Falles gewählt habe, diese Stornierung dann aber doch gezahlt werden müsse, wäre dieses eine Täuschung seitens des Anbieters gegenüber dem Kunden! Leider wird das Geld bei Buchungsabschluss sofort eingezogen. Auf meinen Versuch hin über die Kundendienst-mail anzufragen warum ich trotz Vermerk "kostenfrei stornieren" zahlen sollte, erstaunte mich dass die mail überhaupt nicht zuzusenden ist! Der Kundendienst ist nur über einen telefonischen Kontakt erreichbar, doch dieser befindet sich leider im Ausland. Der Service ist nicht empfehlenswert. Ich bin enttäuscht über diesen Umgang mit zahlenden Kunden und werde die Anbieterseite nicht wieder nutzen.

France | 15 August 2018Grosse grosse arnaque ! Ne vous faites pas avoir ! Tout est fait correctement, avec un vrai site de réservation, un vrai service client alors qu'en vrai vous ne réservez rien ! Me concernant j'ai fait une réservation et je l'ai annulé gratuitement. Le problème est que je n'ai jamais été remboursé. J'ai contacté le service client, ils m'ont dit d'attendre 2 jours, j'ai attendu 1 semaine et toujours rien. Finalement j'ai rappelé pour qu'au final on me raccroche au nez . Moi je vous le dis et je suis pas le premier, c'est une grosse arnaque !

Ils m ont dit qu il allez me rembourse et j ai toujours rien reçu.

The hotel wrote me that I'll be paid back so I'm waiting for to be paid back of the amount of the room taken through Galahotels. I'm surprised that I didn't get any answer to the email I've sent to Galahotels on the 8th of August, except the automatic confirmation that you've received it. So you can understand that I can't give you a good mark.

United Kingdom | 14 August 2018Paid and got confirmed bookings for hotel on the night of 19th to 20st and 26 to 27th in London just to find out that both are cancelled. Got email that one will be refounded but no.news on another. Tried to get any customer services on the phone or email but it is impossible. Phone is or busy or drops. Never ever been in a situation like this. Hoping that money will arrive back and get something arranged. Cant understnd how can you confirm and tyen cancel bookings on customer. Be aware os that company services. At tge monent i feel simply cheated

United Kingdom | 14 August 2018Booked a London hotel got an email to say no longer available. Telephone number unreachable for gala hotels, they also don't respond to emails. Over a week and i still haven't received my refund. If you do choose to use them use a credit card for security!

United Kingdom | 14 August 2018I wouldn’t touch this company with a barch pole. They state a price and then take more money out the bank then they agreed too. I have sent numerous emails and tried to call but it just rings out and no one responds. Don’t use them.

United Kingdom | 14 August 2018This hotel was not our first choice but we decided to travel to Dublin at short notice and there was limited hotel availability and as such this was reflected in the price we had to pay which I considered was very high. The reception staff at check in and check out were really good and the room we got on the third floor was acceptable although it was very warm even with the windows open and a fan in place. We decided to have lunch in the hotel before heading out into Dublin and was disappointed with the food. My wife chose a burger which included bacon that was seriously overcooked. I chose a steak which was OK but the chips were awful and included a number that were stuck together in a ball 3 inches in diameter that I could not separate. On our next visit to Dublin I will try another hotel

Ukraine | 14 August 2018We were offered a transfer from airport to the hotel, booked by GalaHotels. The scheduled arrival time was after 2000, when the transfer office at the airport did not worked. Unfortunately, the tel number, which we received on our voucher from the GalaHotel, did not answer. The taxi price was equal the overnight stay at the hotel. Poor service.

We had to look for a room near the airport with 2 little kids for almost 2hours it was a nightmare. We received an refund email BUT we have not received the refund yet 20 days later. We email GalaHotel several times and never had and answer. RUN AWAY from this website!!!! Bad experience
