Spain | 06 August 2018Otro afectado más. En mi caso hice una reserva el 30/6/2018 que me cargaron al momento 1664€. Procedía a cancelarla dentro del plazo de "cancelación gratuita" el 7/7/2018 y a fecha de hoy 6/8/2018 y tras tres reclamaciones a las que en resumidas cuentas se disculpan y me informan que han informado al departamento correspondiente indicándome que revise mi cuenta que en los próximos días tendré la devolución realizada, sigo sin recibir mi dinero. La sensación que tengo tras leer las diferentes quejas en la web es que aquí se está tejiendo una estafa piramidal en la que con el importe de los nuevos estafados, devuelven dinero a estafados pasados y que poco a poco se van quedando sin estafados nuevos y esto va a explotar en cualquier momento. Yo mañana viendo que han pasado los 21 días hábiles en los que se comprometían a devolver el dinero tengo intención de denunciar a la policía, de abrir reclamación a través de mi banco y a ver si consigo que visa, mastercard y 4B bloqueen a este operador evitando que siga estafando a usuarios nuevos. Finalmente tras varias reclamaciones a galahotels.com , a mi banco y denuncia a la policía, he recuperado mi dinero el 14/8/2018 , han pasado 28 días hábiles y 39 naturales. Es vergonzoso, pero al menos he conseguido recuperarlo. Mi caso no ha sido algo puntual, todo indica que es una forma de funcionar, así que os recomiendo no reservar con esta web si no queréis tener problemas.

Not only did they charge me twice for one hotel booking, causing my credit card to become over £300 lighter, but then after pointing this out to them and subsequently cancelling the booking all together they make a hollow promise to refund me within five days. That was the 26th of July and today is the 5th of August, yet no sign of any refund. To top it all their pathetic call centre seldom has anyone to answer your call and no way of allowing you to leave a message. How this company is allowed to continue trading is beyond me.

No one answered my calls to all phone numbers listed on the site.(local and abroad). Email wast too late. Lesson to learn no to book through a third.party.

Spain | 04 August 2018Son unos sinvergüenzas y unos estafadores. Cancelé gratuitamente una reserva de un hotel en Cuba y llevo más de dos meses y medio intentando que me devuelvan el dinero. He puesto más de 5 reclamaciones en su página web, he hablado con ellos por teléfono y todas sus contestaciones son que están gestionando mi devolución, que a los pocos días tendré el reembolso... ¡¡¡MENTIRA!!! Yo seguiré intentándolo y, mientras, le daré la peor publicidad posible.

GALA DID NOT MAKE RESERVATION BUT CHARGED MY CREDIT CARD Booked a Hilton London Hotel on TripAdvisor thinking I was booking with them but transferred to ‘gala’ booking system. Paid for a taxi to get there only to be told by the Hotel that there was no reservation and they had never heard of this awful (Turkish based company) which in my opinion is a scam organisation - took my money and did not make the reservation. The hotel had been fully booked for 2 days so there was no way Gala had made a booking, yet it took my money. I had the nightmare of incurring extra costs and huge inconvenience trying to find a hotel at the last minute late at night and cancelling my credit card as they had my details. When calling them I received a recorded message stating the line was ‘disabled’. Take care on other platforms and avoid booking if you are transferred to their site. I will be taking the matter up with TripAdvisor to get this organisation which in my opinion is a scam off their site - they have cost me hundreds of pounds and the inconvenience of having to cancel credit cards. If you have booked by credit card make sure you raise a complaint with the card company - in the UK if the amount is £100 or over you might be able to get a refund from the credit card company. Update - And to add insult to injury, Gala is attempting to get this review removed. I have kept all of the correspondence proving the ‘booking’ that Gala purportedly made was non-existent. There seems to be a long trail of this awful company trying to remove legitimate negative reviews.

No contact possible Telephone or mail.... General warning do not book there!!! And GalaHotels do not answer "We will do our best to improve our work" i give a dam sh***t to this! do the work like others and do not rip people off! and Transfer the money back to me ASAP, do not look for excuses like you do with all of us, do your Job correct! so simple ist this!
