Best NYC moving experience to date! Great customer service and transparencey from first communication with Dumbo Moving to final signature at the end of moving day.

Terrible experience. Would never recommend. Very rude staff across the board. General manager was nasty over the phone and incredibly unprofessional.

The guys were courteous and professional. I was very happy with how smooth my move went.

Excellent service. Peter and Stan were on time arriving to the pick up address, did a phenomenal job wrapping up the Television, Couch and other big items. They were also patient and friendly. would hire again!

This is my third move in two years and my third time using Dumbo Moving. They make it as painless as possible and are very helpful. Everything arrives in excellent condition. I have used them each time because they are truly great and reasonably priced. I also continue to recommend them to friends in full confidence they will receive the same excellent service. I wouldn't use anyone else now!

I moved in a blizzard and the team showed up on time, and took great care in keeping my belongings as dry as possible. They were hard workers and very helpful on a very stressful day.

After years of trying to do it myself, I finally splurged and got some moving help. I chose Dumbo based on the affordable flat rate for a 16' truck based on the time that i chose. Helpful website for choosing times, no need to select furniture types and such, just fill up a 16' truck no questions asked. They sent me two guys and a truck just as described, who arrived right on time at the start of my chosen window. They were amazing from start to finish. No haggling, no trouble, no complaining, just good ole fashioned moving help. They were polite, took our suggestions politely, gave their own as well, wrapped the furniture nicely, worked fast but carefully. Only had one struggle with getting the couch thru a door and they problem-solved calmly and got it done without problem or damage. Highly recommend and will use them again.

Did a GREAT job in a blizzard. And took special care since I have OCD. Patience was extremely important. Friendly, professional and excellent in every way!

Great movers despite making my roommate sit in the drivers seat of the truck for 2 hours so they wouldn’t lose the spot. Not the best experience but got the job done.

The WORST SERVICE - I provided my full inventory items list, and before the move began, the lead mover looked at all of my belongings and reassured me all items would fit into the truck (he said it wouldn’t fill up half of the truck). As they started loading the furniture I was directed to go to my new location and they would meet me there. Within an hour, Dumbo Moving called and said not everything would fit in the truck and said they would have to get another truck to move remaining items (an additional cost of $400)...and they couldn’t tell me what all would not fit. They knew I would be at a disadvantage and would have to pay more for an additional truck. In summary, the move took 11 hours (estimated to take 4), cost more than quoted, and the ONLY thing in the extra truck I had get was a small outdoor piece of furniture. And funny thing was the movers brought in a piece of artwork to my new apartment that was not mine, which tells me that the original truck was not empty and had other customers belongings. There were various other things that happened to make this the WORST moving experience, but I think you get the point. Do NOT waste your time, even if the quoted price seems better than other companies. They will get you in the end!

This is a terrible company The movers didn't arrive to my new apartment until 4pm. I left my old apartment about 10min before the movers. They lied an d said they stopped for gas. It doesn't take four hrs. To gas up. Also just realized one of my items wasn't taken off the truck. I will never use them again and won't recommended them .

Not worth writing a review. It just wasn't a good experience. Beside paying $1000, I had to move half of the stuff by myself the next day.

The movers were professional, fast, on time, and handled my furniture with care. One of the movers suggested the placement for one of my bookshelves in my new room which worked out perfectly and was really nice of him to do. I had never used a moving company before in NYC and was nervous about finding reliable and efficient movers and was happily surprised with this experience. I will definitely use Dumbo in the future.

The office was super responsive, the movers were fast, efficient, polite and careful with our belongings.
