I am so incredibly grateful to DUMBO moving and will forever recommend them to everyone I know. On Friday February 26th, the last allowed "moving day" in the month of February, my husband and I were left stranded by a different company. It was 3:30PM EST and this other company couldn't provide the required COVID affirmation documents and cancelled on us. We were fully panicked, no idea what to do. My husband and I got on the phones and started to call all local moving companies who (understandably) could not help us so last minute. Then my husband called DUMBO. By then it was 3:45PM and I thought we were all out of luck. The representative at DUMBO calmly took inventory over the phone, checked his trucks, provided us with a very reasonable quote, and promised an arrival between 4-5:30PM. We could hardly believe it. Even then I didn't care what it cost or who was going to show up.... we had to get out. But what we got was more than we could have wished for. These guys had a long day, and had just come from another move, taking on our apartment last minute... and could not have been nicer. They were professional, they were quick, they were polite, they were careful. They were everything we wanted from the beginning and we could not be more thankful. These guys work hard and not once complained. I knew it was a late night for them and our moving location is an hour outside the city. They did a wonderful job, they saved us in what was a really bad situation, and I cannot express how happy I am with DUMBO. Everyone should use them they are the BEST!!! THANK YOU DUMBO!!

The movers should be provided with receipts to give the customer when collecting payment.

Using Dumbo Moving was an absolutely amazing experience. They called me in the morning to let me know that they were on their way; arrived within the time window. With only two movers, they moved my 1 bedroom apartment worth of items from upper Manhattan to lower Brooklyn in approximately 3 hours. The lead mover was extremely nice and considerate. Everything arrived with no damage. I definitely would recommend Dumbo. My mind was put at ease. Thank you!

Amazing service

Amazing work! Super clear communication. Very willing to help figure out exactly the best way to make my cross-country move happen. They even send a link to a GPS tracker so I could follow my things from coast to coast! And wonderful, clearly outlined, and strictly followed COVID-prevention/safety measures. I highly recommend Dumbo moving!

The worse experience. Movers decided to cancel my move without even letting me know face to face. Instead called their managers and who later notified me of the cancellation. NEVER will use them again or recommend this company to anyone.

Great service, as usual. This is the second time I have used this company for a move. They actually arrived early. From the moment they arrived in my old apartment until the moment they left my new apartment was about 5 hours -- but that was mostly because they had to take apart some pieces of furniture like my bed.

Movers who came were fantastic, friendly, and very helpful. Sales people were not particularly helpful by email, did not fully respond to questions, and cost me a rescheduling fee even when I prompted them early because of a big snowstorm. They actually made assurances to continue with service, even going as far as to suggest the landlord should reimburse for rescheduling (like that would ever happen). Would maybe use service again mainly because of the guys who showed up and the generally reasonable advanced schedule pricing. Sales service could use work to make the customer not feel a bit burned through the already stressful process of moving.

I give 2 stars because my things were delivered broken ripped and things falling out all over. They were placed very sloppily in my house with no care. However They arrived at pick up location on time and the older gentleman was very nice and accommodating.

Dumbo Moving is the best! I've used them for 3 moves, and every time they are fast, professional, and fantastic to work with. They showed up on time, were friendly, moved quickly and efficiently, and nothing was broken upon arrival. They ended up breaking down a few pieces of furniture that was unexpected and they dove right in, and reassembled them at our new place. They made a generally stressful process very smooth and easy - I highly recommend them!

this is my millionth time using dumbo movers and they are still as amazing as the first. The movers are swift, helpful, organized and incredibly careful. Nothing was broken or missing. Honestly, moving day was supposed to be hard but it wasn't.

The team arrived on time and took everything that I had specifically put on the list. They were very careful with all my things and very precise. Would highly recommend and I will definitely use Dumbo moving in the future.

Everybody was very professional. Long distance delivery team where on time. Loading and unload very organized. Would definitely recommend this company to anybody.

I would never use or recommend this company to anyone ever. Our movers of which we only had two, spoke zero english, smoked on the job, asked for tips early, and worst of all DAMAGED all of our large furniture in the move. Broken credenza, scratched coffee table, dented trunk, destroyed chairs and office desk. Can’t say enough about how this was a terrible experience.
