The guys who helped us move were top notch. Unfortunately upon booking we trusted the phone operator judgment in choosing the size of the truck which did not fit everything we had, their problem solving was very poor as they only offer to send another truck for $600 (which we declined as we had already spent over 1K and ended up completing the job by ourselves).

George and his team were kind, knowledgeable, and strong. They moved all of my belongings safely and in a timely manner. 10/10 stars.

The actual moving of objects was good but one of the gentlemen kept taking off his mask and the other wasn’t wearing a mask at all, even while inside my apartment. I don’t understand why they thought this was a good idea. My girlfriend has a pre-existing condition, and if she gets Covid it could be lethal. For the amount of money I paid I expected them to at least be wearing the mask while inside my apartment, even if they had to take it off while outside (though I still don’t understand why they would take it off at all during a global pandemic). If either of us gets Covid, you will be hearing from our attorneys.

This is my second time using Dumbo for a long distance move. The move this time around was smoother, faster, and easier. I first inquired about the move from Texas to NY. The price was 50-65% cheaper than my other quotes. For long distance moves, Dumbo usually does consolidated moves. This was the case for me. I coordinated the move with Alan. I was then in contact with Ed. He was accompanied by his partner Steve. They were good, understanding, quick, and efficient. They were careful with our belongings, and took care of furniture that I had not wrapped myself. I would suggest that you wrap as much as possible yourself and box up what you can. It makes it easier for everyone. They loaded up the truck and I received both my shipments within 3 days. They were great throughout and they communicated with me via text, as requested. I would use them again.
