Movers were right on time (which is at 7am), promptly took care of everything. They weren't super quick on their way back - we arrived there on Uber quicker than they did even though we left a little later. But better this way than the opposite (and getting overcharged for waiting period). It was a very small move - no furniture - and the flat rate we got from DUMBO was the cheapest by far with no hidden fees, COI included in the price etc, essentially it was cheaper than getting someone from TaskRabbit with an hourly charge. Will use again for small moves.

My movers were right on time and offered me a ride to my new residence so I didn't have to take a cab. They were careful with my belongings and made me trust that everything would go smoothly, and it did. I will use them again next time I move.

My husband and I were very pleased with how professional--and quick!--Dumbo Movers were. They moved our things with efficiency and care, and we would absolutely use them again. We had trouble getting a beloved large piece of furniture through the doorway, and Dumbo put us in touch with someone who could deconstruct and reconstruct the over-sized piece, just so it would fit in our new place. Very happy with the results!

Foreman of the crew called me morning-of to confirm arrival time within a half hour window (down from the original two hour window at dispatch), as well as go through the inventory for my flat-rate move to make sure he was planning for everything correctly. They dismantled all my furniture, brought packing materials, and loaded it onto the truck super quickly. They got stuck in traffic en route to the destination but were super quick with unloading and unwrapping. Would definitely recommend and use again, no question.

We used Dumbo 3 years ago when my daughter moved from CT to Brooklyn. This past weekend, we used them again to move her back to CT. They were very prompt and contact prior to the move was excellent. They are very careful with your items and all upholstered and wooden furniture pieces are either wrapped in blankets or shrink-wrapped. Would definitely recommend them.

Workers were nice, took care of everything. The form used online led to some confusion. I thought I'd be moving by 9 am, but I ended up moving at 7. Obviously not a problem, but just a little disorienting. Besides that, all of my stuff was properly taken care of.

We used DUMBO Movers to move our office from Midtown West to Chinatown, and they were fantastic. We weren't able to get the same team of movers for the packing and moving, but each team did a great job, esp. considering a blizzard came in over the weekend and turned Manhattan into a white, slushy nightmare! Their pricing was fair, they gave us a refund when they determined they over-budgeted the boxes for the move, and were polite and helpful at all times.
