I couldn't have asked for a better experience with Dumbo Moving! It started with great customer service with the scheduling process and then on the day of the move, my movers were very professional, respectful and handled my belongs with the utmost care. They absolutely eased the stress that comes with moving. I highly recommend this company.

Primary compliments to Mr. Joel Granatstein !! This gentleman truly cares about the customer and is extremely helpful and kind and patient throughout the entire process. Very knowledgeable and provides the best customer service you could ever ask for. In the end I really dont know what I would have done without Joel, to say that he went above & beyond is simply an understatement. JOEL IS LITERALLY THE BEST EVER #1 !!! The move itself was handled by 2 professional guys from truck # 124. I did not have the easiest stuff to move and they still got everything done within an hour. Super well packed and perfectly taken care of from start to finish. Got all my belongings transported half way across the country with zero damage and was an even smoother process on the delivery side. Pick up and delivery both completed without a single issue. In the end the truck even arrived to my destination days ahead of schedule which was such a nice surprise. Dumbo will accommodate you every step of the way. Very impressed with these guys & you will be too!

Joel Granatstein has helped me with several complicated moves. I am disabled and need extra accommodation to help pack and move important family heirlooms and artwork and furniture in multiple locations. Joel meticulously priced all options and called to check in every step of the way, before, during and after each move. The service was so high above and beyond my expectations I cannot imagine ever moving with anyone else! Special shout out to Paata, Temo and David, my dream packer-mover team!

I had to transport all the contents of my Manhattan 1 bedroom to my Brooklyn 3rd floor walkup in record time and comply with the strict requirements of the building was moving put of. Dumbo gave me a quote that was less than half what the other firms were giving me. The professionals, Jason and Jose came timely and conducted an impeccable work. They disassembled what needs dto be disassembled, then carried upstairs in my new walk up and assembled it again, even helping me distribute the furniture in the new space. Absolutely recomen them. For their price and for their service!

I highly recommend Dumbo Moving and Aaron and crew #088 in particular. Very professional from first contact until job completed. Their price beat out all the others. On the day of the move, they were on-time, worked quickly and took great care of our items (wrapped thoroughly). Arrived at destination, removed wrapping and assembled the furniture back together. They have a customer for life. Worth it to contact them for your moving needs.

Dumbo Moving Company, was reliable and fast. Whole move took about 2hrs. They took down furniture and put to together at new place. They also had a fair rate. Joel was friendly and easy to work with. If I ever move again I definitely will use Dumbo Moving Company.

they arrived late took out a half of a couch refused to take out the other half was forced to pay an extra 350.00 to get a couch doctor to come and cut couch in order to take it out, never tried to take out as i requested , way to expensive, nasty movers and sloppy

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! They are scammers. Used them for my long distance move from NY to Florida. I overpaid on pick up day by $1000. The price kept going up!!!On delivery day I had many broken items and busted boxes. I was offered $150 for my damages . They say they aren’t liable as they didn’t pack my stuff!!! They then offered me a neutral third party for arbitration that starts at $300?! They are scammers … all of the people who pick up the phone!! Peter is a fast talking BS er of the first degree!!! I’m so upset I didn’t go with a solid company like Verity. The rep came to my house and saw everything and quoted $5300. I thought it was high and went with Dumbo whose original quote was $4700. I paid $6400 to move!!!! I’m a senior and I really feel I was scammed and it was a lot of money for me . It was a very upsetting experience with the company just walking away from my complaints. I truly don’t know how they are in business. STAY AWAY!!!

I owe this company an apology. I was kindly made an arrangement by Adam to solve my problem. I overrated because of an issue of sensitive medical disc's films and reports. I said things that were out of line. Being a disabled person needing surgery badly and moving to a completely new area has been hard but please do not take my uncalled for overreacting as an experience to use the services of Dumbo Adam and I were able to resolve it from the May 31 move. resolve matters

Acordé una lista para la mudanza y me mandaron una van que no entraron ni la mitad de las cosas y querían combrar más dinero para mandar otra van otro día ni si quiera el mismo día no son serios ellos mandan carro pequeño para poder sacarte más dinero son unos ladrones y fuera de lo que pagas te toca dar el 20% de la propina a los muchacho porque ellos solo le pagan una comisión dicen un precio y te cobran otro no la recomiendo deberían de ser multados y sacar la compañía del mercado

We moved from nyc to Florida, without one single problem. All of our furniture, antiques, and artwork made it to our new home safe and sound. And I found them to be very reasonable. Thank you Dave. Highly recommend

So the salesman I had was pleasant enough, after getting to my house I had 5 extra boxes- that cost me $500.00 - a hundred dollars a box, very over priced....I started with a quote @ $1650.00, ended $2100.00 not up front about anything. Needed a shuttle truck, which shouldn't be the customer's problem, fine print is something that should be discussed. Also had a end table damaged, worth $75.00 , gave me $40.00 for the damaged piece.... Movers them self are very professional.

I have used this company 3x now (2018, 2022 & now 2024). The first two were great experiences that brought me back. Now NOT SO MUCH. I can confidently say company has completely changed their ways of working and quality of service. I used their website's recommended method of moving by truck size and not an itemized list. I ordered the biggest truck because I honestly preferred to overshoot on space rather than under. I also ordered 60 bins from the company so they knew I had that in addition to the estimated items in the order by truck calculation. 1) they were 2.5 hours late to drop off my bins with zero explanation or call as a heads up. No one answered when I tried calling. 2) on move day, they took 3x the amount of time to just LOAD the truck than the entirety loading and unloading for my prior moves. I am 5 months pregnant and literally started moving boxes to the door myself to speed it up. 3) the salesperson texted me mid move and said "they are done with pick up and are heading to the drop off location now" as I was literally sitting in my living room full of things, with none of the movers having told me they were leaving. I had to call the salesperson and find out the truck was full and that they were leaving and to send them a list of remaining items 4) I had to pay an additional $800 for a second truck and crew to come get my items, inexplicably, because again, I chose a larger truck than they even estimated I needed. 5) as I am presently sitting for 3 hrs for the new crew, I walk around and notice they have taken things they were explicitly told not to that were in separate rooms with doors closed. No wonder the truck is full!!!!! And now I will have to deal with getting those items returned. This is A RACKET. DO NOT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY. Update: 6) when the second crew came, they immediately tried to extort me for more money saying the information they received had one less flight of stairs. I had to go through my emails with the company where I multiple times confirmed the flights of stairs and was noted as confirmed. Shortly after that I went to the restroom -- again, 5 months pregnant -- to come back to them having taped my leather couch cushions together with no blanket, nothing. I immediately had them remove and now have a stripe down my cushion. The mover was SHOCKED as to why that wasn't okay and then proceeded not to wrap or tape other items (like carried a filing cabinet down without wrapping or taping it because he didn't want to cause an issue like the couch...). Clearly these people have no idea what they are doing. In the end, the 2nd truck I paid for still didn't even take all of the items that were leftover and my husband had to borrow an SUV and load the remainder himself. Moving is already a terrible experience, but Dumbo Moving & Storage really sends it into the next stratosphere. Do. Not. Give. Them. Your. Business.
