SWINDLERS. Do not hire this company. This happened to me on May 10th 2022.(DUMBO MOVING AND STORAGE).

They made a difficult time much easier for me, and I truly recommend them wholeheartedly. In the end, I paid less for them than I had anticipated.

I was doubtful at first, but these guys really know how to pack a vehicle.

What a great bunch of people! They assisted me in moving happily on a hot summer day, and they uplifted the atmosphere by playing music.

They were on time and got me moved quickly while taking special care with my furniture and home.

If you are reading this, congratulations you have just avoided the worst moving experience you will ever have. Not only did Dumbo Moving gave me the worst moving service I have ever had, it was the worst service I have encountered in my entire life. Here is what occurred: I had received a quote for $415 for a 1br move and was told I did not need to itemize everything I had but I did anyways (listed my couch, dressers, etc just to make sure). I was told as long as it fit on their 16ft truck, it was allowed to be moved. Immediately when the movers arrived, they told me the 4 stairs in my lobby (less than 2 ft high in total) would cost me an extra $60. As the move was relatively affordable, I agreed despite the shady tactic. The movers then came to my apartment and proceeded to check out my stuff and made sure it could fit in their truck and told me there was no problem. They were extremely reckless with my boxes, throwing my stuff into the van and not showing my building or property any respect. The building supper had to step in and tell them to be more careful. After proceeding to move half my stuff, they stopped and said they would not move anything more. They told me the truck did not have enough room and that they brought a 20ft truck instead of a 16ft truck, so I could only have the space on the truck for 16ft. I reminded them that I paid for a 1br move and their mistake on bringing the wrong truck was not my fault. Furthermore, there was plenty of space on the truck and the movers simply did not want to proceed. Everything from small clothes boxes to my large couch, desk, chairs were not put into the truck. They could have easily moved all of my stuff into the truck, but the movers did not care and just wanted to move onto the next job. I called Dumbo and they told me that I would have to pay another $550 for a move to get my remaining items, clearly hustling me to pay more for my original move. When they arrived at my new apartment, I told them they still needed to move my remaining items and they told me they would not. They demanded a tip, I said no and they threatened my safety and spit on my floor. I was then forced to hire a task rabbit & Craigslist mover for my remaining items and paid double my original price Dumbo promised as well as. They are the worst company you could ever work with.

The process of moving is dreadful, but with these guys' help, it was much less so. They kept their cool demeanor and made sure everything was taken care of throughout the process. They should be used by everyone, in my opinion.

Wow, I can't believe how efficiently you packed my queen-size bed and couch bed. Site tables stashed next to the bed were unpacked and used to build a new residence.

All of my valuables were superbly protected by the high-quality packing supplies. The thought and consideration that went into every part of the transfer amazed me.

Their moving service is so convenient and affordable! It was perfect for me since I had a limited amount of time and money to work with.

There was no loss of property neither was there delays of any form. It was the smoothest move I've made in recent times.

Truck 90 was amazing. Very careful wrapping the items. Loading and unloading was very fast and careful. All the furniture was wrapped carefully in order to avoid damages. Employees are fabulous. The staff was supportive and knowledgeable. It was fun for me to be able to watch the precision in the way they work. I’m a sucker for that type of thing. I would recommend this company to one and all. This week they are coming to move my commercial space. Like I said, they are fabulous.

Dumbo Moving is the absolute best. I didn’t know what to expect from all of this but I thought it would be much more of a hassle. That was obviously not the case and things were handled professionally and timely.
