The True Crime Museum is a great little attraction you can easily lose an hour or more to. A lot of your enjoyment will come from how willing you are to engage with the displays and read everything. If you rush round and only glance at the artefacts then you won't have the full experience. There's a small interactive area too which is fun. The presentation overall is great and shows some real thought and care has been put in. However some of the displays are hard to read where white text is used on dark backgrounds or the font isn't very accessible - style over function. I'm also quite tall so I had to lean over quite a bit to read everything. But the themes and collections are varied and the cave setting really adds a sense of atmosphere to the whole experience. We visited a few years ago around the same time of year and honestly expected more updates by now. The video playing at the back is the same and could easily be swapped out now and then. The initial area you walk through which covers Jack the Ripper is a bit of a let down. It's covered with scaffolding and drips when wet. I was disappointed to see it was entirely unchanged from last time. I'd love to see this area redesigned to look like a dingy London back alley to go with the Ripper theme, maybe then the leaks would add to the ambience instead? Overall, worth your money for a visit, especially if crazy golf and arcades aren't your thing! The shop has some cool items for sale too.

Absolutely brilliant- for true crime fans!! If you are looking for something different in a nice town- look no further, this museum might be the right place to spend 2-3 hours (well, if you go around reading all the info about everything on display) and the atmosphere just about perfect- it is situated within white rock caves on the sea front- making it even more fascinating! Give it a shot (no pun intended)

It’s very interesting but it could do with better lighting in some areas , could not see the explanation clearly. Could do with updating.

Lovely little museum, the staff were very friendly and engaging. The exhibition was interesting and interactive. Very reasonable price both for the entry fee and the shop. A great way to pass a couple of hours. Definitely recommend.

The Museum had a wide variety of things to do/read. Dogs are allowed so we could have a complete family day out. There was so much information presented in a factual but sensitive way.

Was really good but some of the interactive things needed a little TLC, the crime lab was fun we all did are finger prints even my 2 and a half your old, loved looking and reading all about the exhibits and learning something new that I might not have read about before, we got a souvenirs guide book which I would recommend as it tells you about the owners and how they started the true crime museum, nice little gift shop we didn't buy anything but we did see some lovely bits.

I absolutely love true crime anything. This place is awesome! Got the love letter of the Night Stalker and some other really awesome stuff. One thing I was hoping to see was more rooms available so the visit could last longer but I’m guessing limited space as underground caves. One thing I would love to see in there is more modern day cases that are not so much heard off but are up there with the famous crimes. And maybe some more interactive buttons that tell you stuff about the crime or person that’d be Awesomeee😜 Thankyou for having us k enjoyed it so much. I hope to come back when you have events on!

We enjoyed our visit to the True Crime Museum as we didn't know what to expect. It was very informative, and the exhibits were really good. Definitely recommend this, especially when it's raining - you'll not be disappointed. Might be scary for little ones though.

It was a very interesting experience. The museum is in a cave system which is really cool. There is a damp scent which does add to the experience but might make some people feel unwell. Over all I enjoyed my time there
