United Kingdom | 09 November 2023Both myself and my girlfriend planned a winter break specifically for this museum and it definitely didn’t disappoint! £9.50 each, so under £20 for the both of us. We walked through the corridor into the main exhibits taking on the info from the each of the wall displays and pop quiz on the way in. The staff are very polite and make you feel like you can ask questions if needed, it was also nice not being pestered whilst we walked round by staff. The displays were great, definitely a lot of time and thought went into them, from well known almost household known criminals to those lesser known, we really did enjoy and take in all the cases (some more gory than others) The items the museum has managed to acquire is outstanding, once in a lifetime stuff is the museum is far from you. Would definitely visit again, but we’d have to bring our now jealous family down too! If you’re planning a visit remember to do your finger prints in the crime lab! The only thing we didn’t realise as it wasn’t explained all that well! The gift shop is great and it has a lot on offer for both kids and adults which we thought was great, if you can afford a little extra there is many true crime books on offer, we opted for one which we hadn’t seen elsewhere, if I remember correctly these vary in price, all less that £10! So great value! All round 5* experience though!

United Kingdom | 09 November 2023I'm a Criminologist and I can honestly say this was one of the most informative, interactive and enjoyable venues I have visited. The guide book is a must and have some fabulous history of the venue too. Amazing day out.

United Kingdom | 08 November 2023Very interesting place to visit if you like this sort of thing. Lots of information and exhibits to engage with. It is very cold and damp in there if you visit this time of year. It does state it can be cold, on the website, but if you intend to spend a good bit of time in there, wrap up warm. Our only complaint was, there was a crime scene you could engage with and solve, which wasn’t explained to us, so we thought it was just to look at. Would have been helpful to have this explained on entry. Same for the finger print card - this could be explained better. Overall, would recommend

United Kingdom | 21 October 2023Very good, but quite a lot of reading. Could do with more interactive bits. Particularly enjoyed investigating the blood splatter with the torch.

United Kingdom | 02 September 2023Brilliant day, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We travelled hours specifically to go to this museum as my sister is a true crime buff, we loved our time here and it was incredibly interesting! The way it was set out in the caves only added to the experience.

United Kingdom | 24 August 2023Lots of artefacts to see and lots of information to read. You would need at least an hour to take it all in. Unfortunately my daughter became a little frightened so we didn’t stay long but I’ll definitely be back again on my own so I can peruse at my own leisure. Also the gift shop is amazing! Lots of books on my favourite genre.

United Kingdom | 16 August 2023We found the crime museum in passing and it looked interesting. We weren't wrong! It was very informative and interesting to see all the different things from old old to recent. I recommend going in & seeing for yourself, especially if you're a crime fan, but even if you're not a crime fan I can guarantee you'll be fascinated by the items & the information. Even my 9 year old enjoyed it!
