Don't wait to visit. Worth it. A lot of crime/serial killers related histories.

What a fantastic fun place! The price is exactly right for what is on offer. I read everything in there and watched the movie in the little cinema room and was there happily for about 90minutes. I could go in again and re read and re watch it all and I won’t be bored! I was so engrossed with all the items I forgot to take pics to share with family when we got home.

Enjoyed the experience and am very grateful they offer discounts for disabled/carers (Thank you!). Friendly staff, too! While we enjoyed our time at the Museum I did find some of the exhibits had rather limited information or glossed over/simplified some of the individuals. An example if I can recall correctly would be 'Amelia Dyer' of whom the museum label did not go into the practice of baby farming and instead opted for a simplified explanation of wanting babies through newspaper ads (I do believe she did both?). Perhaps there is more in the guidebook? Thank you for a nice time and opportunity to see interesting artifacts however had we paid full price I feel I would have left a bit disappointed.

There was good stuff to look at and lots of information but is really you can get round the whole place in a maximum of 1.5 hours so it isn’t good value for money. On the other hand it is an interesting afternoon with teenagers

Staff were friendly and helpful, well laid out and plenty to see. Had a Halloween 🎃 game which was fun..had to find the symbols and find the name of the criminal which my 7 year old loved. Have lived here 19 years amd this is my first visit and would highly recommend.

Went to see a classic horror film for Halloween. The film was great and the staff we very nice and helpful. It's a brilliant idea to host horror films - the setting is creepy and perfect for this. However - its a great idea that needs some real investment: 1. BETTER SEATING! Jeez Louise those benches were uncomfortable. 2. Some refreshments to buy on the premises. 3. Some Halloween decorations. With some proper planning (bigger screening area?) It could be a real cult cinema gem! 💎

After not having heard of the museum before we jumped at the opportunity to visit! Really kind and friendly staff welcomed us before explaining the way in. Filled with loads of exciting and often chilling displays, we spent over two hours immersed in true crime!! With any good review there must be a balanced and fair outlook…we felt that the admission age should be raised to avoid noisy children running around and screaming. Though, hats off to the staff who quickly and politely resolved this hiccup. All in all a great museum. Well worth the visit!!

We have watched every crime documentary, so visiting this museum was amazing as we discovered some new cases to explore. They have some great photo spots, like an electric chair and a really cool guidebook in the gift shop. Plus the museum is located right on the coast so lots to do for a day trip 😃

Not worth £9.50 a ticket, should only be a couple of pounds if not free
