My daughter and I spent a day exploring Hastings, and the True Crime Museum was one of the attractions we visited. We enjoyed it, and it's well worth a visit for any true crime buffs/armchair detectives like us. Entry pricing is very reasonable. I think there could have been more choice in the giftshop, they're missing a trick there!

I'd been very excited about coming to the true crime museum as I do love anything with a bit of history, however I was very disappointed the price in my opinion is very expensive for what you get to see and the museum it self was actually very small, with alot of the interactive parts not working, I appreciate that your prices are based on a view of coming back later in the day however I don't see what u would be coming back for as u can see and read everything in around 40 mins, the clips u also show on the screen are very basic and actually don't really give u alot of information as u try to fit at least four clips Into a very short time I believe that u could benefit with having a person or persons actually in the museum to talk about the crimes and exhibitions as you are walking around, the gift shop is actually in my opinion the best part of the experience it's not overly expensive for the keyrings/pens lanyards etc but the soft toys are very overpriced, although my review isn't a happy one I do believe with a bit more effort from staff and a bit more time put into the museum it could be great Hastings really is a barrage of history with some amazing stories I just think that the true crime museum is a bit of a let down.

I loved the crime museum, it was really interesting and I liked the interactive activities (especially strapping hubby in the electric chair). I love reading anything to do with crime and murder and looking at the exhibits gave me the chills. Take your time to read and explore don’t just rush through as you will miss things. Will definitely visit again 😁

Loved the museum and all the facts ,but needs to be bigger to warrant the price ,40 mins max for exhibition, so needs to be a lot bigger to warrant the price

Small but lots to look at and have a gander at. A nice variety of exhibits - the Richard Ramirez letters were my favourite and the most interesting/shocking to read about. Learning about the caves and what they were used for before the museum was also really interesting, and pretty funny as I never expected that haha.

It was well worth the money, very interesting. Shame a lot of the interactive exhibits weren’t working. Would definitely recommend though

A genuinely interesting and fascinating experience. I would recommend that visitors take the time to read all the exhibits to benefit from the incredible insight into the mind of a criminal. Great value for money and very helpful staff, a really great day for my wife, son and me.
