PSS was responsive throughout the process - from initial outreach through final delivery of my items. My calls were answered promptly, and emails were clear about the timing and expectations. Value for the money was strong, and delivery was faster than anticipated.

Beware - a 'door to door' quote at PSS excludes courier costs. Bizarre I know... after all, that is what 'door to door' quote means - the cost of getting items from 1 door to another. I requested a quote for door to door service to ship several boxes from the UK to Australia. Entered collection and delivery address details plus items to be shipped into their online quote tool. Received an email which referred me to my linked quote document for the requested door to door service. Unfortunately though, the pro forma invoice which followed AFTER I had accepted the quote and paid my deposit for what I thought was a door to door service, turned out to be 26% higher...as the 'door to door' service quote had not actually included courier costs to collect or deliver! Zero change to dimensions or weight of the items either. So effectively the PSS online quote tool says it it quoting door to door, whereas actually it is only quoting port to port. So be careful your bill will be a lot higher than you think...in my case 26% higher. What needs to change is that PSS's online quote tool and quote document sent from the tool need to transparently include courier estimates so the buyer has a total estimated price before committing to buy. As a result of this experience I am not proceeding with PSS and will be using an alternative shipper who has transparently included all courier costs in their online quoting tool and their quote document, enabling me to see the full overall cost of the required door to door service.

Lauren, Milica and the other staff I dealt with were impressive. They were helpful and knowledgeable and always responded quickly and kept me informed. My operation was extra difficult because I needed them to handle the whole operation while I was overseas on a different continent! They did it very well.

From the start PSS were knowledgeable and arranged a video call. They advised on form completion and any other issues with patience and know how. The packers arrived on time and were very helpful, respectful and discussed with us throughout the process and packing so thank you Matt and Kean. The price was fair and so far so good as it will be a while before it arrives in Australia from the UK by all accounts. Helen and Charlotte always available to answer any questions.

The process of moving continents involves a lot of paperwork and planning, but PSS were always quickly available to answer any questions and clarify any detail. Provided all boxes and as much tape as you could ever need (and some of my boxes look like they’re made out of tape!) The crew who collected our goods were great; very personable, efficient and answered any questions we had. Goods are on their way to their destination!

PSS Removals have been a nightmare! They took my booking and ignored all instructions and reasons as to the box limitation, made a huge and unmanageable box and then held me to ransom for a further £500 due to the increased size... After much argument they reduced the ransom to £301 but this was still approximately 30% more than quoted and costed... This after they increased the cost by an additional £35 over changing box dimensions which were ignored anyway... So now nearly 35% more! They failed to tell their foreign shipping partner about their mess ups over the box, which is now attracting additional handling expenses! This whole move from the UK to SA was to cost me some £1200 and is now exceeding £3000. They do not respond to emails and questions, they pass you from one person to the next, they don't respond because one person says they are very busy then the next says they were all away at a conference. Contacting the directors personally didn't even get a response!! Terrible company! Their reply… When they have one over a barrel what does one do…. As to “you are welcome to contact us”…. How about you make good with your customer?

From the original contact and up to the collection of my small shipment they have been incredibly patient with me trying to get various forms completed. Their pricing was very competitive too.
