PSS started off great, until...... A (seemingly) good and straight forward sales team and pre-collection care. However it starts to go wrong as soon as they collect your furniture. It is almost like they hold it hostage over you - not bothering to follow up, letting their supply chain / service partners add significant additional cost, and the most used line 'we have no control over that. They are very keen to get your deposit and then pay, They are extremely poor at managing their supply chain. From the over-priced insurance and lack of customer support I would advise if you were in a hurry, or if you wanted a straight forward and calm experience, avoid PSS. They are now 4 weeks overdue and stepping away from the management of my goods, deferring to their 'appointed agents' as cause. This is a company that has little regard for their customer and even less control over their supply chain.

Very helpful and friendly

We initially went with PSS because the person who came and looked around our house to generate the quote seemed extremely competent and capable. That was the last time we received any functional service from PSS. We were assured the removals team would be 3 people, and they would do all the packing. On our removals day 2 people arrived at 1130, and immediately announced "we don't have enough packaging material for this". We had to help them pack, and supply a huge amount of packaging, especially for all our delicate items and electronics. after removals day it became apparent that PSS needed a detailed inventory of box contents, in greater detail than the inventory their team had created. PSS then demanded (for 4 weeks) that we create the inventory, despite all our shipping boxes being now safely stored in their warehouse. After weeks of arguing we agreed to pay them to unpack some boxes and create an inventory that met the customs requirements! During the whole time we repeatedly received emails with the wrong names and genders of my partner and myself! Once our shipping eventually arrived (weeks after a car we shipped form the UK with another company) we found several broken items. When we tried to claim we discovered an "insurance claim handling fee" line which was hidden on a separate document to the main terms and conditions. The insurance company (arranged though PSS) have so far been equally useless, and despite destroying a £2000 high end PC have so far agreed to pay £96 in damages... Under no circumstances would I use this company. We shipped a car with another shipped, and there was less paperwork, a better service, and it arrived quicker. We paid less than 60% of what we paid PSS for household goods...

Sorting out pricing and pick up was straightforward and easy. Fast communication from PSS at all times. Delivery man (Steven) was friendly, reassured me re delivery and safety of items. So far I am very happy with this service.

Arranged collection and delivery from the front door of our second floor apt in the UK to our second floor apt in America, specifically because my wife is pregnant, PSS used third-party companies who refused to carry boxes up or downstairs, which took a lot of extra work on our part. We were told our belongings would take 3 days, and instead it took 4 weeks. This was not a custom issue, the boxes have not left London. No communication from PSS. Damaged goods, half of breakable broken, inside of boxes wet, broken part near my bike frame. So much to improve on here, for now we would not use again.

We moved from UK to Australia in early 2022. I'm glad we used PSS Removals, especially after hearing horror stories from others who made a similar move with different companies. We dealt mainly with Helen Griffin. She and all the other staff were excellent at communicating the whole process to us and the steps we needed to take, even providing helpful advise. It took us around 3-4 months. We expected this and were careful not to ship everything we would need immediately when we arrived. Even the delicate crockery arrived completely intact!

DO NOT USE PSS. If you wish to have a smooth service and receive your belongings in the condition you sent them then use another company. PSS provided a totally unacceptable service from the moment of payment, throughout handling and during damage claims. PSS failed to pick up the household items from the right address on two occasions. Following this, they then attempted a delivery 10 days prior to the agreed delivery date. I then contacted PSS to arrange delivery for the correct date and requested an email confirmation to confirm the correct delivery date, they did not confirm this. I then had to contact the 3rd party shipping company directly and arrange for my own delivery. The items were then delivered in an incredibly poor condition, the boxes looked to have been thrown, dropped and abused throughout the shipping process. Upon opening the boxes there was damage to multiple items in multiple boxes. The damage included broken plates, smashed glasses, smashed vases and ruined clothing. All items were insured to their full replacement value. The claim was then passed onto the claims company, to which they responded with an estimated value of approximately 1/5 of the actual value. This then fell under the minimum claim value and therefore was denied by the insurance company. Also to note, they only offer you the lowest price they find on Ebay and do not cover the cost of replacement. I have now been left with broken belongings and no reimbursement. There has been no responsibility taken by any of the PSS employees during this ordeal.

PSS have been brilliant from the first contact months ago right up until the collection day. Efficient, friendly and obviously with plenty of experience in dealing with such a huge move which instills the necessary confidence.

The chaps arrived early and were cheerful and friendly and very professional. The access at the house is a little challenging but took it all in their stride. I was very impressed. I would absolutely use them again.

Our 3 packers were super efficient, knowledgeable and very friendly. I absolutely recommend them wholeheartedly.

What an amazing experience! The guys that came were fab and talked us through the whole process. Such lovely characters and were so efficient and helpful.

The unpacking crew were on time, very courteous and worked extremely hard.

I’m still waiting for my boxes to arrive and this comment is just for people who are working in London office. They are very professional and made the journey so so easy so far. Hope the rest is same.

Pick up went very smoothly. Team showed up in the window given and were friendly and efficient. Central office called to check everything was going ok. Goods in shipping now so can’t comment yet on the delivery experience.

No complaints so far. Have been notified that my belongings have left UK and are on the way.
